QUOTE(hybr1d3d @ Dec 19 2009, 10:51 PM) managed to call my local post office but they said maybe the parcel is still in custom clearance.... OMFG! bro, there are many instances where your parcel could have been delayed/lost etc.... Yup, could've been at Custom or KDN or maybe oredi at Pos, but haven't delivered yet (no way your local P.O. can track your parcel since it's Std Shipping...) Or your parcel maybe oredi delivered to your house and left at your gate while you were out... who knows?what tooks those babi so long to clear a small parcel! All we can do is probably wait.... until the estimate delivery dates are over, email Amazon and do necessary action... that's the only way. I didn't receive my first ever online purchase from Amazon 3 years ago at all.... |

Please note that the price of The Green Mile (Blu-ray Book) [Blu-ray] has increased from $19.99 to $27.99 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product detail pages.

QUOTE(poyol @ Dec 23 2009, 10:29 AM) The difference that I noticed (not that I've bought any...):At $PEEDO - local version and/or HK version compared to Amazon US version: – different cover art (most of the time, if not all) – no barcode at the back of the printed sleeve (only on sticker pasted on) – has more Asian language/subtitle tracks – no top white sticker (and sometimes the side security sticker) – more expen$ive than Amazon's – thicker casing with nipple (dat's if they imported the UK version) – A LOT OF TYPO/SPELLING ERRORS LIKE THE RAMBO: FIRST BLOOD PT.2 (LIONSGATE - ONE WITH SILVER/GREY BACKGROUND COVER!!!!) QUOTE(maskedchan @ Dec 23 2009, 11:57 AM) i found that speedo transformer:ROTF is US version..exactly the same as amazooo... True true, some Amazon blu-ray came without top white sticker like my Spider-man bluray trilogy boxset... all 3 no sticker and no shrink-wrap but no top white sticker...must be remove by kettam inspection... so i think white sticker not applicable anymore to differentiate US version or local/HK version |

Just came back from watching Avatar (in 3D) earlier today. Many a time I left my mouth agape while watching this flick. Story was average and the action & AQ were f-good. But it's the visual effect, CGI and overall look that left me astonished especially through 3D
But the real amazement here is the "uncanny valley" syndrome when watching this flick... truly left me confused yet amazed!!! |

On my way home from office, I'll pass Skynet office everyday.... didn't see any suspicious activities thus far. From outside really look outdated & old. No one would ever imagine what they they've done to the future...

Avatar is my first 3D movie I've watched in recent memory. The glasses is not the conventional 'green/blue & red' lens but something much cooler - chromatic that looks like sunglasses. I don't know what is all the difference now that we have different types of 3D like: Disney Digital 3D, Real D 3D, InTru3D etc etc....
Do these 3D technologies being utilized for blu-ray too? Like Journey to the Centre of Earth, My Bloody Valentine, Monsters & Aliens, Coraline etc? Can anyone (technical sifoos) shed some light.... TQ |

QUOTE(ar188 @ Dec 25 2009, 10:30 AM) not sure too... but maybe this comments can give some insight on the MP4-MVC format.. hmmm... very interesting. It mentioned "display independent". Does this mean we don't need 3D glasses to view 3D blu-ray contents on our HDTV? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « http://3dvision-blog.com/tag/mpeg4-mvc/ http://www.slashgear.com/blu-ray-3d-specif...atible-1766232/ |

QUOTE(ar188 @ Dec 26 2009, 12:40 PM) U think so pro meh tis codec. Can make normal tv show 3d without specs? Hav to use bda approved spec lor. Haha. If that is so, then what's so great and difference with the current 3D blu-ray that's already available... like Journey to the Centre of Earth & My Bloody Valentine? All display independent oso what... you can watch it with your 3D specs. I'm confused... |
