Thanks Kylie.
I manage to rearrange it. Btw, how about 鎂鎂賓館 and 銘家商務賓館, both are newly renovated.
I'll be staying there for 8 nights in HK and 1 night in Macau. Any nice and cheap hostel recommended in Macau?

For a budget traveller you can try make you reservation using Air Asia's GO HOLIDAY, here are a few reasonably cheap hotel in Macau you can consider :

Best Western Taipa
- A good 3-star hotel and suitable for the budget traveller.
Total Price & Taxes MYR 206.11

Metropole
- This tourist class hotel has a good location and is recommended for low-budget travellers.
Total Price & Taxes MYR 225.38

Riviera
The hotel can be considered as First class property. It has a well-equipped business centre, together with a fully equipped gymnasium, squash court, tennis court, and mini-golf course. A good choice for travellers who are looking for a quieter atmosphere in a hotel. **Previous known as Hotel Ritz*
Total Price & Taxes MYR 263.90

Hi there northasian,

I'll be going to Hong Kong in the middle of next month. I have a few questions I hope you won't mind answering them :

1.) I'll be going there with my wife and 2 kids ( both above 11 yrs old ). Through out my stay there for the most part I'll be booking two rooms - I'm staying at Disney's Hollywood Hotel, Wifi Hotel & Dorsett Seaview plus one night in Shenzen. However on my last night in Hong Kong, I decide it's better for us to be closer to the airport as our flight the very next day is at 10am, hence, my decision of booking at a deluxe room in Novotel Citygate.

My question is, will it be okay for the four of us ( all deem as adult ) to crash in one room...for just one night, as I don't mind sleeping in my sleeping bag on the floor ! I mean will that be against the hotel policy. Even Agoda.com would ask for the name of all registered occupants.

2. ) Is it a good idea to buy a phone sim card over there in HK to make a call back home, or use my 012 ?

Thanking you in advance.

012 (Maxis) will do
If ur telco is celcom, pls don't use it! damn expensive. (012 can be celcom due to MNP)
I tried with Maxis and Celcom before.
If you want the exact rate, i can try to check back my bills for you.

make sure you subscribe to the international rooming 1st.

No, never mind that's okay. Thanks anyway. I think I'll leave me cell phone and just bring my lap top to get in touch with my parents back home.

Just came back from HK last Friday. Stayed there for a week.

11th Dec. When I arrived I told myself : damn it what is the fuss about cool weather in HK it's all warm and sunny. But it was all foggy up on Victoria Peak.

12th Dec. Went to Shenzhen - it was warm and sweaty in the afternoon but temp tend to drop a bit in the evening

14th Dec. It was quite warm but breezy in Disneyland. Just t-shirt here.

15th Dec. Went to Ladies' Market - It was raining quite heavily. Need to buy umbrella from 7-11 ( HK$47 )

16-17th Dec. Cooler weather through out the day. You may need jacket. But I just wore a tank top and t-shirt only.

Hi guys, need some help here. Any idea how can i get to book a single room that fits 4 adults? As don't need to be very luxury type.
As mostly, I checked online only 3 adults.

Thanks

I went there with my family ( the 4 of us ) and stayed at Chi Residence 279 in Yau Ma Tei ( opposite to Dorsett Seaview ). It's more like a service apartment with 2 rooms meant for 3 adults, but I brought my sleeping bag and slept on the floor. It has 42" flat screen TV, free wifi and a kitchen !

Made my booking through Agoda and cost about RM4xx per night.

Other than that if you intend to stay in Disney Hollywood Hotel, the room has 2 queen size beds.
