Just to share abit for those ppl who intend to get a simcard to use for internet.

There are over 9000 PCCW Wifi hotspots. To get free wifi , use your mobile phone and roam on PCCW network . Dial *166# to get the log in password. The log in ID valid for 7 days. After 7 days, dial again to get another one for another 7 days.

PCCW hotspots are every where. At least at every 7-11 .
*
Let me try the next time I'm in Hong Kong...
Singtel have something similar but valid for 1 day only.

You are right. Even when you already have the log in ID, when u are using it you must be on PCCW.

As long you are on PCCW network, u are ok.
*
Does that mean we can only browse via WiFi with our phones while roaming with PCCW ???
Can't I use the Logon ID with iPad ?

Disneyland 1-day park ticket is fixed price at HKD$
350 per adult. Special promo may include Disney freebies.

Best time to change HKD now... Very low rate now.

Going to Macau/HK tomorrow. Free AA tics booked last year.
Didn't realise weather is going to be just as hot as here.

Is it difficult to get accomodation in Macau at this time without booking?
Anyone tried?
*
It's summer months in HK/Macau.... You just need to pay more expensive for accommodation.

Do HK currency exchange accept ringgit? If they do are the rates usüally better?

Also if I go n walk in to find a room will the hotel/motel ppl over there tend to overcharge me?
*
Better to exchange HKD in Malaysia (Try Midvalley or Sungei Wang)
Walk-in room rates are usually the highest.

Hi there,

I have a question. I want to reach Mongkok station from the Airport. Does that mean i have to change rides in two stations? (Tsing Yi and Lai King)
You can take the Airport Express all the way from Airport to the Hong Kong Station.
From there switch to the Red MTR line towards Mongkok
There's only one change required...but a looooong walk from Hong Kong Station to Central station
