i have not decide which hotel to stay yet...

pls help me to choose which best in term of :

near MTR / night market /restaurant...muslim restaurant nearby / got any free shuttle bus service??? i'm bringing my 2 small kids along :

1.Cityview
2.Dorsett Seaview - quite small room
3.Metropark hotel kowloon - not really near to MTR
4.West hotel - not that near MTR
5.Bridal TeaHouse
6.Nathan Hotel
7.Dragon hostel

considering the spacious room for 3 adults + 2 kids. based on the review looks like city hotel is convenient and nicer but dun know if it is near the shopping market or MTR...

I do really feel Nathan Hotel / Eaton Hotel not bad bcoz I stayed there for few nights as it's about 5 mins walk away from JORDAN station but problem is you're looking for Muslim restaurant nearby which I seriously do not know & didn't observe it as well. Perhaps I saw one mosque at HK island which you need to mid level escalator to go which is somemore where is between Wellington Street & Robinson Street.

What's Cityview address?

For free shuttle bus service in HK, I don't think they have and only Macao have but need not to worry as the public transportation in HK is really convenient.

hi there...

this is the hotel info :
Cityview Hotel Kowloon
23 Waterloo Road Kowloon Hong Kong

The Hotel Cityview is located in Yau Mai Tei on Kowloon. It is conveniently located just a few minutes from Tsim Sha Tsui, 15 minutes to Central Hong Kong and 45 minutes drive to the airport. It is close to shopping centres and the MTR is just a 5-minute walk away, with the closest exit D. Other public transportation such as buses are also available nearby. The superior rooms are medium, but do…

General
After the renovation made in year 2008, this hotel could consider as 4-star first class hotel and has a good and convenient location for business and leisure with easy access to the all modes of transportation. This property also has a large size public pool, GYM with no additional charge for in-house guest by showing room key. Guest can check the opening hour on the spot. (KC Feb09) *Previous known as YMCA International House*

Anyone stay in this hotel???I think this is the good hotel right...

no worries.. when u come out of the arrival hall @ airport just drop by one of the many convenience shops and get a drink or snack and get the big notes changed to smaller currency notes.

yes, it worth as you will be getting cheaper rate for MTR! plus, you don't need to queue to get the ticket,  and usually the queues are bit long... plus, you can use the octopus card to get ride on bus to ocean park as well..

at the end of your traveling day, you can just ask for total refund. they will just deduct HK7 for processing fee. FYI, for one octopus card, you need to pay HKD50 as deposit.

TQ...i'll survey and will get it. 1 card for 1 member right? so meaning the octopus card is to be use for all MTR and busses...

gstrapinuse, what exactly do you want to know?
about the activities or location?
just ask me the question, i will answer you in detail. coz i dunno where to start
here's briefly about our itenary:

day1: arrive in Macau airport at 5, transfer to Macau ferry terminal by cab(hkd70 with luggage).
take new world first ferry(turbo-jet is better) but we wanted to save some $$ so we choose to go at Kowloon Ferry Terminal instead of HK-China Ferry Terminal.
Arrive in kowloon F.Terminal, took a cab to Dragon Hostel(about hkd40). Ask them to stop at near/in front of sincere house.
Check-in, relax and go out to Ladies Market(only 5min away walking)

Day 2 update later tongue.gif
