Hi all,
I'm planning to goto Citigate when it opens in the morning and then goto Disneyland at 2pm until the fire works.  If 5 hours enough to spend at Disneyland?

Then the following day, I plan to goto Ocean Park. How many hours will i need to spend there smile.gif

Thank You ya.....i have 3 more weeks before i go there smile.gif
*
its citygate...would suggest u go after disneyland firework. i think it end around 7.30pm if not mistaken. then 1 station reach citygate. from 8pm till 10pm should be able to satisfy ur need ?

if u r adults, disneyland will be a boring place....all kiddy ride...me in mid 20s went there play merry go round? =_=

most of the time u might spend v the mascot, queuing n taking picture....so its really depend what u looking for....if goin v kids then dont think its enough, the entrance fee cost around rm180

beware food in disneyland is freaking expensive, if i still remember i spent HKD50 for chicken rice without water ( canteen type )

Yup.

Btw.. since i'm going for 6D5N, is it advisable to stay in 2 different hotels, i.e. 3 nights at one area and another 2 nights at another area?
*
if u focus on town, stay at one hotel should be ok....cause all the place are connected by MRT...

most of the major tourist attraction can easily reach by MRT....

but the fare not cheap la...slightly around rm3-9 per destination

haha bro ur itinerary wont work our wink.gif too ideal . FYI hong kong nite life is till very late around 12-1am. MRT last call also around 12-1am. i advise those temple street, lady street all to be done around 9-10pm ? more time to c around

as mention by the brother, goin to The Peak within an hour? i remember took the blardy tram go up at least queue for an hour hahahaha.....

once u go up, u spend some time in the wax museum n the peak( do noted that the peak only nice when visit at nite time, its a LOOK OUT POINT )
ladies street only happening at nite time, day time go for?

day 2. i think u might wanna drop to citygate outlet once u done with ngong ping(just nearby 5min walking distance), as its a must stop for malaysian for branded. disney land fireworks at 7.30. after that u can go back home edi

day 3. lan kwai fong just a street (10min u are done unless u wanna drink some beers) and the cool part its nearby wax museum, advised u to change the wax museum trip to day 3.

What's the difference using a hsbc cc compared to other bank's cc? Any added advantage?

Anyone here tried having more than two people staying in a hotel double room? For example, if there are 6 of us travelling and I plan to just book 2 double room in a hotel and fit 3 into a room. Is it advisable?
*
HSBC = hong kong bank, more privilege....ie more points, no service charge etc

HK room is freaking small....

imagine 3 person in a small room with bathroom attached

barely can breath

if kids? should be ok guah?

not sure

would like to ask, with rm2000 exclude air tix is it enuf to survive for a week? no hardcore shopping, just normal sight seeing
*
i think should be ok guah?

1 nite rm150 x 6 = rm900 ( rm150 kinda cheap edi)

daily meal rm50 x 7 = rm300 ( kinda budget edi for lunch n dinner, if breakfast + supper doubt need more than that)

transportation rm20-30 / day

roughly rm1400 for those above....havent include pay for those sight seeing places....a little bit souvenir or shopping

Are there any food stalls in Disneyland and Ocean Park?  How is the food like, expensive?

If going to Hong Kong, is it worth taking a ferry or flight to Macau?

Is Macau only full with casinos? Can enter casino if age below 18 not?
*
Disneyland got restaurant inside, cheapest is the canteen food....like food court....the food average around HKD50 for chicken rice, fried rice etc

taking the ferry i think cost around rm180 go n return? cant remember.....

ur itinerary seem ok but

would u opt for the peak at nite time? the scenery much better during nite time compare to day time....

mar 17 u not goin anywhere? i think u go to ngong ping 360 if u interested and shopping at citygate outlet after check in hollywood hotel. just 2 station from disneyland mrt....

do note MRT close very late around 12-1am depend which line

disneyland close at 7pm....there is nothing to do after that....not advisable to stay hollywood hotel since its expensive but if u got extra to spend a nite its more than enough. nothing to shout about HK disneyland

ladies street bargain kau kau....if temple street(miu gai) price kinda honest

Hey guys....need some advise here...
Going to hk for 6 days, departing on the 2nd of may with my 2 kids...age 4 and 2 respectively....
We are not chinese so bananas by default
2 days pretty much covered with disneyland and ocean park but not sure what to do on the rest of the days, any suggestions? Wife wants to do shopping.....so i have to make 2 full day for that

Another thing, accomodations....any good hotel that is family friendly around time square? Was thinking about staying at disneyland hotel for 2 nights on the 2nd and the 3rd but have no idea where to stay after that.....

Any thoughts?
*
Hi bro,

if u wanna save some money, 1 nite in disneyland should be enough....2 days seem more than enough....nothing much over there....

if u got extra money to spend, then u might opt just stay in the city....

u can go to the peak, avenue of star etc...basically nothing much to do in HK except shopping....

Added on February 24, 2011, 11:32 amAA got promo recently...

anyone got the cheapest ticket??
