Macau 2D1N would be enough. Unless you wanna explore ALL casinos in macau, you need 3 days. You should consider Sun Sun hotel too. Last time i stay in Sun Sun hotel which is just next to Ole London. The room is quite good. Walking distance to senado square. I have no idea about Sintra though.

Added on March 5, 2010, 1:59 pmCASA hotel in HK is good. Very convenient place to stay. It's just 30 seconds walk to YauMATei MRT station. I stay in another hotel in that area before. This area is where temple street is located, a lot of eateries and shops nearby.

thanks for ur advice. im considering either casa or bishop international house now. what do u think? cuz i saw frm sum website that room at bishop is bigger den casa.
for Sun Sun i think it's quite old rite? from wat i observed frm d pic. anyway, considering among 3 hotels now, emperor, royal or sintra. which is d best?

Macau, i normally stay @
1)Best Western Hotel Taipa = Nice room, give up on location
2) Best Western Hotel Sun Sun or Ole London Hotel (juz next door) = Good location
You can make use of the Free shuttle bus provided by most casinos, try not to use a cab, quite costly. If got time, try eating @ Lord Stow's Cafe, nice food & coffe, especially the Portugess Tart (original).

Hong Kong is very tourist friendly. Cantoness, English and even Mandrin is widely used now. Depending on what you want to visit, just stay @ any hotel that is near the MRT. Most hotels in Hong Kong have very small room (high Land cost). Bridal Tea Houses has very good location, but i dun like to stay there. i normally stay @ Mingle on The Wing. No wories, HK is very safe. Standard of living is very high. Save all your travelling day to a full day, buy the Octupus Tourist travelling card @ HK55. Valid for 24 hrs of travelling MRT, no limit.

Enjoy. Me , i'm going back there on july.

i did browse through best western Taipa but it's not a nice location.
Sun Sun is good for bigger room i guess, as for the pic on their website, the std room is so old n nt attractive. or they hv been renovated?
Lord Stow'w cafe? mind to share the location with me? if it's sumwher nearby definitely i wil drop by to taste the tart.. owhhh.. my favourite! =drooling= biggrin.gif

mingle on the wing is at sheung wan right? dun it cause inconvenience?

Coloane (路環 Louwan)

Agreed!

People will just think Macau is just Macau Peninsula (澳門半島) only! They didn't travel to attractions in Taipa and Cotai.

i realised bout taipa n coloane but dun reali know the best vacation spot to visit.

btw, anyone has any idea bout royal hotel in macau?
