OMG!! Im flying there next week and i hope they wont be around... NOT to be racist, but yea.. don't really like their attitude sometimes!
I assume you're Chinese too right ? Then no worries. No one is going to call you a racist. We all share the same roots after all. People from Mainland China are Chinese. Hongkongers are Chinese. Macanese are Chinese. People from Taiwan are Chinese. Overseas Chinese like us are still Chinese. We are all Chinese smile.gif

Anyway, agree with all others that Chinese from Mainland China tend to be very rude and noisy sweat.gif

Tq for the quick respond! if my MAS flight at 6.45pm, what time is recommended to reach Sentral?
*
Check-in at KL Sentral closes 2 hours before flight. Make sure you get there before check-in closes will do. But just in case you miss it, you can still check-in at the airport. I prefer to use the downtown check-in facility so i do not have to drag my luggage with me all the way to the airport biggrin.gif

wow can check in at sentral ah? hmm first time to MAS, i guess i will go KLIA 1st and see how.. hmm.gif

go early..if too early..any nice food at KLIA? sorry only went there twice when send fren off..only use LCCT before sweat.gif
Eden Restaurant was quite good when it first opened in 1998 but standard has slipped. It's still quite good nonetheless. Be ready to burn a hole in your wallet should you want to eat there. Otherwise, i think fast food is your only choice.
- KFC (Departure Hall - Level 5)
- McDonalds (Departute Hall - Level 5)
- Burger King (Arrival Hall - Level 3) & (Satellite Terminal)

There's a food court but it's crap.

Is there any different between the Airport Express Ticket & Octopus Card?
Should I buy the round trip of Airport Express Ticket & Octopus card? Or I purchase the Octopus card will do?
Octopus Card is for MTR while Airport Express Ticket is only for the Airport Express Train service. Octopus Card is also accepted at places such as 7-Eleven, Family Mart, Bossini, Kee Wah Bakery and many more.

I plan to go HK in end July 2012 for summer sale. Just checked AA promo & lowest fare to & fro is RM 130. After add all charges, come up to abt RM 500 return per person. Good deal or not?
It's okay i think but usually if the difference is just RM200 or RM300, i'd take a full service carrier instead tongue.gif You can buy a Cathay Pacific ticket between KUL and HKG for around RM800 when there's a sale.

And side track a bit..if I pre book checked-in luggage at 20kg under my name, can me & partner check in 2 luggages as long as total weight is less than 20kg? This rule is not per piece, right?
Yes. You can.

want to ask something abt dragonair
they're offering economy special...and other economy
want to ask are those included the 30KG...those or what?
cuz i searched high and low in the website..can't find any
only can find the refund etc those things
*
Economy Special is the special promotional fare and it comes with only 20KG of free luggage allowance. If you buy the Supercity Package, they will give you 30KG on luggage allowance on the return flight.

Since you are checking Dragonair, i assume you are flying from Kota Kinabalu ? Dragonair only flies to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia.

yes...saw they're doing promo
so asking here
actually aiming for HK but not really RM50
was searching for next year may holiday
*
No worries. Dragonair always do a lot of promotions ex-BKI but a return ticket between Kota Kinabalu and Hong Kong is always more expensive than Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong despite Kota Kinabalu is one hour nearer to Hong Kong doh.gif

not so sure...i searched 26 may till 10 jun
the ones i found RM1197 is 1 june till 7 june
of course much more expensive than what u stated..not RM800-900
*
That's because it's school holiday, so it's the promotional air fare is not available.

I personally recommend Harbour Grand Hong Kong or Novotel Kowloon Nathan Road thumbup.gif Both are located near to MTR station.

Hi everyone, I wanted to when we were travelling aboard.... We should say we from M'sia or other country especially when we bargain price??... My friend told me that we should say we are singaporean b'cos HK ppl dislike Malaysian...
*
Nonsense! There is absolutely no problem by admitting yourself as Malaysian and no. They won't treat you badly just because you're a Malaysian. I've been to Hong Kong and Taipei many times. Trust me! smile.gif

I understand they spent millions of dollars to refurbish the lobby but not so sure about the room. Anyway, the location is good though.
