I am curious...

Do people travel around HK + Shenzhen + Guangzhou as well?

HK + Macau or HK + Shenzhen are common, but what about Guangzhou as well?

Yes pretty common.. I did it what in 2008..Macau>Zhuhai>Guangzhou>Shenzhen>HongKong Macau..

For those wanna try China 1st speed train..Shenzhen to Guangzhou is the starting point haha..There is adedicated thread on those interested on Pearl River Delta...It's cheaper than staying @ Hong kong or macau  smile.gif

I was just back from Guangzhou last week. It takes about three and a half hours to go from Hong Kong to Guangzhou by bus and the bus fare is 80HKDs.

However, Guangzhou is not worth visiting at the moment. Construction is everywhere.

There is a reason for me to visit Guangzhou.

I wanna try the 200 km/h CRH1 train from Shenzhen to Guangzhou wink.gif

Another option is to take MTR intercity from Hung Hom, but then......i may miss the high speed train.

Nope, single entry is only meant for entering China only once.

Double entry means you can enter China twice, multiple means many times during visa validity.

Thanks very much Token.

What are the recommended tourist spots to see/do.. Star Ferry? the Giant Buddha? The Peak? How much are the entrance prices generally?

HKD1k still enough?

Giant Buddha (including Ngong Ping 360 ride) and The Peak.

For The Peak, i bought 3-in-1 package (return), at HK$ 200, then...Madame Tussauds, HK$160.
