Do we really need to buy the Airport Express Travel Pass? Using the normal MTR should be fine right?

QUOTE(pinky-lurve @ Nov 27 2011, 07:08 PM) If you wanna travel from HK airport to any of the MTR station, you need to buy Airport Express tix (price from HKD60 to HKD100, depending on which MRT station do u wanna stop at.) Is there any different between the Airport Express Ticket & Octopus Card?Unless you wanna take their bus from HK airport, then I guess its not recommended to buy Airport Express Travel Pass. In my opinion, Airport Express Travel Pass is only worth it if you plan to travel to many places in a day. (That's what I plan to do) Should I buy the round trip of Airport Express Ticket & Octopus card? Or I purchase the Octopus card will do? Got my answer. Hong Kong Airport doesn't has MTR, but Airport Express. Now I understand. This post has been edited by Joshua_0718: Nov 28 2011, 12:16 AM |

Hi,
I have yet to start my itinerary but I have some of the idea where to go. Not sure should I go Macau first or put it last? Here is my plan and my initial place to visit. Not really into heavy shopping but more into visiting and food. 20/04/2012 - Friday 6:15am: Arrive Hong Kong International Airport * Proceed to Macau * Overnight in Macau. Or should I not even overnight in Macau since one full day over there. 21/04/2012 - Saturday * Back to Hong Kong * High percentage staying in Golden Wave Hotel Avenue of Stars Clock Tower Madame Tussauds 22/04/2012 - Sunday Ocean Park Peak Tram 23/04-2012 - Monday Disneyland 24/04/2012 - Tuesday 8:30pm: Flight back to Malaysia Would fine-tune from time to time since I have plenty of time? |

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Nov 29 2011, 05:42 PM) Peak Tram and Madame Tussauds is at the same place. Might wanna shift that to Saturday. Cause Sunday is weekend so expect loads of visitors at Ocean Park. Noted with thanks.I am still cracking my head whether should I overnight in Macau? What's your opinion and suggestion? It would be 1 full day in Macau for me. |

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Nov 29 2011, 06:57 PM) Those attractions better to go during weekdays. Maybe Friday go Ocean Park and Monday go Disneyland. Weekend Macau/Peak Tram perhaps. Ok. Will re-arrange the itineraryQUOTE(yiyibrowers @ Nov 29 2011, 08:06 PM) Don't go Disneyland for weekend as I went Disneyland on Monday also I queue quite long average is around 30mins also the queue to take photo with characters is like more than 30mins. So it advisable to go on weekdays instead of weekend if not you may need to queue for an hours more and will missed a lot of attractions. Noted |

Guys, can do a review on my updated itinerary?
QUOTE 20/04/2012 - Friday Would appreciate if able to assist to check on these 2 date. 21/04(Sat) & 24/04 (Tues), the 21/04 seems a bit too boring in the day time, as I believe the visit would not take the more than half day? Is it better for me to put Ngong Ping 360 & Citygate Outlets on Saturday? Then again, what should I do on 24/04? I have more than half day. Inserting Avenue of Stars & Clock Tower would would take not more than 3 hours right?6:15am: Arrive Hong Kong International Airport * Proceed to Yau Ma Tei – Casa Hotel * Proceed to Ding Ding Travel Agency - Buy all entrance tickets Ocean Park Temple Street Night Market 21/04/2012 - Saturday Avenue of Stars Clock Tower Peak Tram + Sky Terrance 428 Madame Tussauds Symphony of Light 22/04/2012 - Sunday Macau 23/04-2012 - Monday Disneyland 24/04/2012 – Tuesday Ngong Ping 360 Citygate Outlets 8:30pm: Flight back to Singapore |

QUOTE(XiuKeong @ Dec 27 2011, 11:21 PM) Citygate probably will take around 2-3 hours considering if normal shopping. Noted. Then I shall move the citygate and NP360 to Tuesday then.NP360 half day can be done. If you want to watch SoL, better watch at Avenue of Stars because there's music. If you watch at The Peak, you only can see the lighting. If you have plenty of spare time, do some HK exploration on their food Noted on the SOL. I plan to move it to 1st day or 4th day. |
