QUOTE(lena redmoon @ Mar 20 2013, 10:06 PM) I also have it. This NES is from my childhood (1989) till now. Since I've abandoned it for more than 10 years because now I'm more keen in PC gaming, so last year in October when I've feeling want to play it again, it cannot start the game. I thought my NES was dead! but finally I manage to gets it spare parts throught eBay & with some guides from websites, I manage to fix it and its finally function again, like newly purchase. but since its games & accessories are very hard to find in Malaysia, so my only option now is to buy from eBay. Yikes, I still haven't order a new piece of pin connector [attachmentid=3356205] [attachmentid=3356207] [attachmentid=3356211] [attachmentid=3356215] |

Ya have to say that the price is rather "ridiculous" but some how have the eager to try those games & 1 of my friend said that the game is rather enjoyable. The limited/collector's edition is even more ridiculous. With an extra soundtrack cd the price is 2X the standard edition's price.........

QUOTE(youze @ Mar 24 2014, 04:15 PM) Sad news guys. My Dreamcast console could not read any disc when i tried to load it last weekend. The sound of spinning disc is too quiet. The last time I played on it fine was last year. Was hoping to get some 4 player action with my cousins on this baby but this had to happen now. Same here, my 1st dreamcast died 4 years ago. My 2nd 1 just died last month. Now I'm left with the last surviving console. Guess it won't last that long Any tips to fix this guys? Or direct me to shops that can replace the lens? TQ in advance. |

QUOTE(tripleB @ Mar 25 2014, 08:55 AM) Have you tried the laser pot tweak I mentioned up there? It can slightly prolong your Dreamcast laser's life, but I'm not sure for how much longer. Still better than nothing though. Well when my 1st Dreamcast died I did tried by referring to the web & it made matters worse. |
