hi.. im planning to get my first android phone and x10 seems to please my eye and wallet...but need to get some confirmation from all u guys...
is x20 capable for playing games that uses motion/movement?
what about games that need requires multi touch?
or only can play games with single touch such like Angry Bird??

come to think about it, im not even a heavy phone gamer either..i normally use it for sms, gps and calls... i quess i was just asking out of curiosity =)

what i really need is a phone that looks good with good resolution...no issues with basic functions like calls, sms, contacts etc.. read a few comments where X10 sometime gets this problem.. is it bcos to much customisation like using 3rd party apps? install this and that? or this happens even with the default apps tat comes with the phone?

i'm also eyeing on HTC Wildfire to be frank, but somehow, i'm leaning towards x10 due to its design and of cos, the reasonable price... for me, anything above 2K is too much for a phone.. better off using it to get my condo ceiling plastered.. (hehehe)
and i heard the pic quality is among one of the best among Android's.. is that true?

i heard wildfire has poor display- so thats off the list...

last i checked, X10 was not that good due to 1.6OS... luckily i checked here and got the latest news...just in time for my bday..hhe..


ok... one more question..... can i install lots of games/apps to this phone? do i have the option to install it on the memory card? or only on its internal 1gb memory? gsmarena says it has limited space on its systems partition to install apps...somewhere around 512mb left.. is this true even with 2.1?

and yes, just some confirmation... is there any 3rd party application for X10 that can tell direction of a compass? havin this would be great.. need to check for direction of Kaabah...

yeay! just got my x10.. update to 2.1 already..
now need to figure out how to import my contact from old se w660 to x10...

2.1 and i'm enjoying it to bits... huge screen...

i still dont get it..
1- this phone performs great...
2- screen is huge.. lightweight..
3- android 2.1....
4- lotsa great FREE 3rd party games...
5- sleek design..
6- got free GPS...

but still not many people use it....

im glad i didnt get an iphone 3gs or those high end models of rm2K and above...if not, i would have spend so much more for nothing....

next mission, im gonna convert my wife to an X10..hehe...

I tried to tradein my e71, but they only take it for 250 only... my e71 is super clean, no scratch.. inside leather case most of the time!!

yup.. and X10 next upgrade for multitouch will be mainly used for zooming purposes.. not for 3d heavy game...

i used to think multitouch is very important to a smartphone, but im not gonna play games all the time... the only games that i like to play on my fon is Angry birds..haha.. the one thats really addictive..which requires only 1 finger to play...

and if i want to play heavy games, i switch on my Xbox... settle...

Does any of x10 users find that the call volume is not that loud compare to other phones even if the volume is set to max? kinda hard for me to listen to what the other caller is saying most of the time..

i read somewhere that SE is also planning for Froyo in theirs next upgrade, and this upgrade is mainly focus on performance.

or maybe gingerbread?? cos X10 seems to be capable enough to support with 1gz CPU.. i think...

i think its becos SE launch it with 1.6, which was crappy in certain sense... and the rest of the competitor is already playing with 2.2...
then most of people was put down by this..

its like having an MPV car with 1.6cc (sounds familiar??hehe)

but the hware are so capable to handle so much more (except for the real multitouch features which might not work properly with heavy usage of gaming)..

browsing speed is so far, ok.. but there are other browser that could perform better .. like Dolphin HD... free from Sunday market...

guys... my phone indicates that during standby of 6hours while i was sleeping, it uses 67% of the battery...almost half of battery within 4h 15m 47s!!!
shouldnt standby saves battery and leave task at minimum usage?

is it caused by those advance task manager that keeps on monitoring my device during standby?
i've switch off all gps/wifi ad only running gsm mode...

is this normal?

not available in market anymore, from what i read, developer got some problem uploading it.... its only available offline... and the one in the market is a malware.. dont download it...
then save it to u sdcard, use Installer (free from market) to scan ur sdcard and install it...

For LauncherPRo, i use 7 homescreen.... its not laggy at all.... only when i use those Live wallpaper thats heavy, my free memory usage goes down to 60-80mb.... if i use simple livewalpaper, i get above 130mb all the time....
and i use taskkiller most of the the time to kill those unnecessary program such like timescape etc... thats when i get 160mb free....

unlike SE default homescreen, LauncherPro is way smoother... 7 homescreen wont be an issue... just dont put too much widget.. i only use shortcuts...
