guys..i'm having some trouble here...why all applications in my android market is free?Even some of the paid apps are  free ?
*
u'll need to root your phone first by superoneclick, z4root etc
then install "market enabler" (inside market)
once installed, launch it and go to settings...
u'll get a list of provider....
long press on T-Mobile (US) or others as you please, and select "Fake this provider"
after that, you will see all of the available apps (free and paid version)

Android market for malaysia is not fully launch (i think), thats why you only see Free App list...

im thinking of unistalling my Timescape...
but i read somewhere that it will cause other things such as Contact list to behave funny.
is that true?
i dont intend to use Timescape... i find it useless ...

i can browse internet with no problem using the sama wifi connection. but when i wanna log in to market, it come to the error message i mentioned above. this is the first time i wanna connect to market. i have gmail account and its active..
plzzz... somebody help me.....
*
connecting to market is one of the easiest thing to do for android... as long as you have a gmail account, once u launch it, it will ask for your gmail account (first time)... did u get this login screen in the first place? or u have passed this stage but cannot go further?

last resolution would be to reflash your OS... start fresh...maybe got some corrupted files etc...

lol if u didnt mention i also dont know =.= really why ar?
*
if you want to get that exact figure declared by SE , u'll need to format evrything on your x10..
delete evrything, which means no OS, no files.. nothing..
then you'll get 1GB internal memory with 384RAM...

on SE website also mention "Actual free memory may vary due to phone pre-configuration"

damm on those small terms. because i installed quick system information and it shows that 465MB internal storage and 280MB memory. so i guess even with os installed, it should show 1GB internal memory ( 500MB free internal memory). btw if like this i m losing 50% on internal storage and 35% on memory.
*
its the same for all android .. be it Nexus, Samsung, LG etc.... standard practice...
all will take some space of the internal memory and RAM for the OS to run..

hey guys..

how many % you set your display brightness?

all these while i only set 10% or less.

yesterday played with the phone, set to 100%..its WOW...nice to look at..

but stupid battery cannot last...sad...
*
most of the time, my screen is off... display will drain battery only when u use it...
thats why mine always set at full 100% ...only when i know i want to play with the phone (browse market, play games, customise homescreen), only then i set it to minimum... i use the standard "power control" widget on my default screen to quickly set the brightness... min, medium and high setting...

so far, my phone battery can last around 36-48hrs... with minimum wifi and game usage...only using 2G (GSM)
using battery monitor, for 1 hour = around 1-2% of battery drain... by right, after 50hours, it should fully drain the battery...

i gave my clear to my wife and now i use anti-glare instead.. cos i hate to see fingerprints..

not sure of quality, but i remember my anti-glare screen protector is made is japan....
very smooth on finger sliding and now i spend less time cleaning it compared to those clear ones

for mms, i remember switching data traffic off cos i dont hav dataplan, but i can still receive MMS from a friend... all i did was configure my phone for mms setting.. (eg. for maxis, just dial *100# and download the configuration for Internet and MMS.. it will auto configure for our x10)

i think data traffic settings is for those push email, FB update, whatsapp etc..
mms is different..
