yeay! just got my x10.. update to 2.1 already..
now need to figure out how to import my contact from old se w660 to x10...

what is the latest fw for this phone now?

i still dont get it..
1- this phone performs great...
2- screen is huge.. lightweight..
3- android 2.1....
4- lotsa great FREE 3rd party games...
5- sleek design..
6- got free GPS...

but still not many people use it....

im glad i didnt get an iphone 3gs or those high end models of rm2K and above...if not, i would have spend so much more for nothing....

next mission, im gonna convert my wife to an X10..hehe...

oh yes.. and what are those terms liek JIT, quadrant, ap2sd etc...
are those softwares to fine tune to get a better perfomance of our x10?

i already reflashed my x10 3 times using seus. hehe

had the chance to play around with this phone just now. the guy selling it for RM1350, trade in my e71 becomes RM900.

is this phone good enough for android 2.1? how does it compare to htc desire and galaxy s?

Hopefully they'll get multi-touch a.s.a.p. I'm kind of wanting to get myself Xperia X10 as well.. Good specs.. but multi-touch is a big let off I think.. Seems interesting to use for games and web browsing..

yup.. and X10 next upgrade for multitouch will be mainly used for zooming purposes.. not for 3d heavy game...

i used to think multitouch is very important to a smartphone, but im not gonna play games all the time... the only games that i like to play on my fon is Angry birds..haha.. the one thats really addictive..which requires only 1 finger to play...

and if i want to play heavy games, i switch on my Xbox... settle...

Does any of x10 users find that the call volume is not that loud compare to other phones even if the volume is set to max?  kinda hard for me to listen to what the other caller is saying most of the time..

or is just my ears tersumbat... hehe...or hardware faulty??

maybe can ask him 2 upgrade till 2.1, his fren is following his footstep buying  a x10, maybe can c if it got such prob or not.

anyway, the phones tat he sent all support chinese with no prob.

my fren just updated to 2.1, the situation has gone bad to worse, it cant type chinese now.. but can read chinse, he try to change the input, but there is no chinse option? albanian, japanese all got.. i wonder how you guys set the keyboard anyway..?

very impressed with the Froyo

linpack got about 33-34 constantly

as for quadrant, see for yourself

linpack and quadrant are some benchmark test for Android, as with most of the test, the higher score u get, means the more capable the machine is
you can download both benchmark apps from market and give it a try

Free x10 froyo is not stable by any means meaning not suitable for daily use yet, just load it up to test test oni and see what x10 is capable of under Froyo hehe

run a benchmark test on quadrant.
i got 509. just i bar above x10i itself..

haha..i just drag and drop in phone..

To do it you need to have a rooted 2.1 X10

Step One
-Have PC companion open
-Download and extract the file
-Then open the SuperClick folder and run SuperClick as admin
-Then click on shell root
-The steps are the same as the previous root procedure
-Connect your phone then click on charge, then click on usb debugging
-If it doesn't work then unplug, un tick, then plug and tick usb debugging again

Step Two
-Once you have shell root open the 2_jit_enabler.bat file
-Press any key
-You should see some lines of code and when finish your phone will turn off
-Then unplug your phone then start it up
-The initial boot will take a while so wait
-After boot your phone will come back to normal

Step Three
-Now run SuperClick as admin again
-Run the root procedure, click on root...........you should know the rest by now
