Hey men, I would be glad if someone here could help me out. At the moment I have trouble deciding between a few 2.1 speaker systems, namely the :-

i) Edifier S530D
ii) Harman Kardon Soundsticks II
iii) AE Aego M

My budget is at RM 800

Mostly used to play audio cd's or at worst 320kbps/mp3, with some gaming thrown in(but usually i use wireless headphones for this)

am looking to plug it into my pc, lcdtv and ps3 in a room measuring 3mX3m

As I don't really have the time to audition these speakers as usually there are located at diff places, could anyone who has owned any of these give me some feedback. Or if you know of any other choices other than these 3 that also fits into my budget, do let me knoe.

thanks

hey bro the thing is if im bout to spend 1k i might be tempted to spend even more to get a proper traditional Hifi setup instead. Just need something decent for my small room at the moment

Though im inclining more towards getting the AE AEGO M

Ya men, i saw in garage sales got this guy sell for 770 so i go cod with him at lunch time so a fast deal.
so far i am liking what I hear. the mids and highs are very clear and very nicely reproduced for a system for its price

Of course u cant compare it with a properly set up traditional hifi system but at its price and the small room its it definately packs a punch

But best thing to do with it is to play high quality audio cd's and turn off all the EQ/effects/enhancements and all that crap.

Was playing this all day to burn them in thumbup.gif bass notes are killa and the ambience.

Played it off a japanese vinyl replica cd with some audigy sound card.

Prolly gonna change the cables and get a USB DAC or something in near future.
