i saw some people put sponge or white color polystyrene things like that under the woofer, but those are not hard surface but soft right? why they do so? wont it dampen the bass and reduce performance?

hi guys i m looking toward to get a set of Aego M, but before that i wish to hav some more room of choice, although i been addicted to Aego M for more den 3 years. any 1 can suggest any speaker within tat price range? actually i m 60 percent music, 40 percent music and NV gaming =).

2.1 or 5.1 is fine for me as long as the speaker produce good sound clarity and nice treble.. bass not important for me..

DO note that clarity is what i seeking not BASS.. biggrin.gif

i have concern that JBL transparent casing may turns yellowish or cracks years later. do you have others recommendation?

if i upgrade to soundstick3 from a mx5021..is it consider an upgrade? juz auditioned it at lowyat plaza..but not satisfied enuf bcoz of the environment..all the staff at the mac gather around you..i feel awkward to test it kaw kaw

Looking for 2.1 speakers with good bass.. tried edifier.. didn't like them.. budget rm300-500 depending on price and value.. Is Sonic Gear Armageddon A7 any good?? or i shud up my game to Logitech Z-2300?
will be using it mainly for clubbing + trance songs, movies and games.

Hi, i need a recommendation for a 2.1 pc speaker. My usage is - 60% gaming, 25% movies, 15% music.
I like bassy speakers BUT not those muddy kind of bass until cannot hear the treble...

think of after bought this,will use it for 5-6 years already. So must think clearly before buy it. I do often play classical song too. My dad bought a set of home home theater that branded pioneer at living room,the sound really nice. Edifier compare to  Pioneer,which better?

if my bd player already have a built in audio decoder (Dolby Digital,Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, etc), do i need to have av receiver?

Fyi my bd player only have 1 x HDMI output, 1 x Composite video/audio output ( RCA phono x 3 ) and 1 x Digital audio input (optical) ( TOSLINK ). if i do not need av receiver, what 2.1 speaker is the best for movie viewing. Budget :<=RM1000.00.

and lastly, through which output should i connect the speaker to get the best sound experience?
