how about edifier s530 vs klipsch gmx 2.1? in term of sound quality.......thanks in advance

Hi all.
Can you guys recommend me and 2.1 system for watching movie purposes.
Due to the setup of the living room, 5.1 will be too much troublesome, requires hacking and all.
Have less than 1 feet of clearance below the wall-mount TV cabinet.
Occasionally will connect lap top to TV for viewing pleasure =).
Hopefully that covers everything. I don't mind theater-in-a-box as well.

Hope you guys can suggest some good one... I thought of getting a Hi-Fi with MIssion Speaker and maybe Cambridge amp... but see first la... Dun wan always overspend... Some more I might has visitors like kids and might easily spoint the speaker...

Btw, any speaker with built in FM Radio capable? If can read from memory card will be nicer...

i'm planning to change my edifier C3 to something better,

at first I'm planning to get the Edifier S730D..but then got poison by other contenders such as Razer Mako and Bose Companion 3.

I tried the Edifier at PC Fair, well to noisy so i can't really judge it right now

as for Bose, i tried it at my friend's place. It's totally out of this world..the speaker is really nice and the woofer is great and boomy!

razer mako, din really tried it..oni seen it in action in pc fair while ppl play cs..
planning to get a new speaker mainly for music n watching movie. I like my movie to produce nice strong and tight bass

Woah, never knew speakers can cost so much for something decent. ><

Any other suggestions? I'm always open to other alternatives!

u mean the bose and razer mako? why? issit that bad? 
hmm..the harman kardon speaker..came out for a long time already right? anyway, was wondering hwo strng is the woofer..i like my bass to be strong

curious, the subwoofer has about 20W only, will it produce a strong bass? cause my edifier c3 is somewhere near it and the bass wasn't strong ><

currently not in KL, but ogin bak there soon..my location is at cyberjaya
wonder where i can test the mako, anyway for the s730..i reli like edifier..they never fail to impress me so far

as for bose..i tried it for awhile only at my friend's house..it's pretty good

mmhmm. In terms of design, I still prefer HK SS3.
JBL Creature looks interesting too.

Speaking of testing speakers, do you know where I can test this kind of speakers?

I prefer to test them all at one go saw SS3 at Switch Sunway Pyramid, but didn't have much interest in the speaker at that time.

anyone knows whether the audio shop @ LYP(near the entrance) have this few speakers?

mixed up those Apple Resellers already. Anyway, is there anyway to differentiate SS2 and SS3? their design looks identical?  not very good at this.
