Hi, I'm currently looking for a good quality speakers for my laptop/desktop.
A lowyat.net friend recommended the Creative Gigaworks T20 or T40 but I couldn't seem to find it anywhere in lowyat plaza... so I was wondering whether you guys could give me some clues on where to find those speakers?

Or are there any other good speakers that you guys recommend?

Usually how much money does one need to pay to get a good set of speakers? RM400? or RM500? Sorry for noobishness.... I love musics but have zero knowledge on speakers haha...

The harman/kardon soundsticks is abit too large and expensive for me... kind of looking for something like the Creative Gigaworks, small and looks nice hehe

Aego M, Mako, Edifier S730, and SS II - Are these plug and play? Cause my lappie only have one audio imput hole. >_>

Hi guys...

Please recommand me a 2.1 speaker set.

I am using a Vs4121 black version.. To be honest, i DONT like the lack of mid range as many ppl says.. As the result, voices are seemed to be mixture of rich high and low range.. And it sounds screeching at certain songs as well.  I listen to both techno and hits music.. This speaker sounds good on CERTAIN techno music, and fare horribly on hitz music because of the bass.  On gaming side, it is reasonable especially on racing games as bass are more emphasized and lived up.. The bass arre at times acceptable but boomy.  I have a Xi-fi titanium pro, and it sounded like crap on it, so i got myself a SRS audio enhancer, which is free and apparently it sounded better on it.. @.@

Verdict is i need a balanced speaker, NOT TOO BOOMY, BALANCED MID RANGE as well as good low range for games, and the bass doesnt sounds like "tak tak tak" on songs.... An all rounder i suppose.

My budget is 400-500 ... Do i asks for much? xP

i bought my edifier e3100 today. currently i'm disappointed with it... somehow it is not on par with my previous Hyundai speakers.. When I increase the bass for this e3100, the 'boom boom' sound is too loud... feel that the sound is not 'tight' enough

besides that bro? i already have that back in my hometown thought of keeping it there let it use with the hometown desktop. no other recommendation?

the best speaker for that budget is the edifier m3300 only?

what would u recommend for double the budget? maybe i can look into it and see it if justify my buying because staying in a rented house and i dont think i can blast that loud
