lol dunno la..
i flashing bios to 1.20 that time..half way flash the whole pc just shutdown then reboot, by half way i mean at the phase of "writing to bios'..but then nothing happen, just that every single time i wanna install the official latest driver, W7 BSOD..

izit that 1.20 bios must be flash under vista? cos i tried under W7 RC

atleast u should be grateful that nothing bad happens after your failed BIOS update.

i heard nasty stories of people unable to start their PC/laptop after that sweat.gif

ya i know..i was damn scared my laptop will go brick..but then it booted...
but i guess just the header part was flashed to 1.20, cos i heard if ur bios is not 1.20, the new driver will not work, will have issue installing..and i heard the issue is BSOD..see how la, maybe gonna flash back older bios, then flash to 1.20 again

oh,ya, jz now my fren acer lappy os corrupted, then he reinstall the os using dell recovery disc, at first i tot cannot, but then it works, in the system there got dell icon....lol

how to burn recovery disc?? just straight away put all file from my recovery partition into a dvd??

no, he just install the os and it runs...btw that not my disc, now thinking of copying that disc for future use...lol icon_idea.gif

no it is not utility, it is the window vista home premium reinstallation dvd, aka the repair disc. dell laptop comes wf many disc, utilities, driver, and os, are given in different disc.

miahaha, u using bios 1.20?? cos readme file say must use 1.20...
does that mean i have to format back to vista, flash the bios, format again, then install back W7??
maybe do a system backup..can i like do full backup including all the stuff i installed?
