what are the criteria in choosing a mobo??? still dun noe how to choose....
*
well if you're into OC, u had to lurk more at OC forums to see which mobo is the best in OCing.

OC + limited budget is tougher. but the thrill is after gotten the correct one is thumbup.gif

if you're not into OC, just go for mobo with reputable after sales record and longer warranty, and the upgrade abilities of it.

main thing is actually budget...

for me usually, i jzu see wat i can get with a certain amount of budget for a certain chipset... then i adjust other hardware accordingly...

for eg, if i die die want Core i5 700, but i can't get a nice P55 mobo to go with it, then i'll go for a cheaper P55 mobo...

special criteria comes in place at times, eg: mATX mobo... this of course is a big constraint, since ur choice is severely limited...

for my Athlon rig, my criteria were: 790GX + SB750 chipset, mATX, 4 DIMM slots... and the Biostar meets all my requirements...

for my Core 2 rig, i dun have any requirement, so went with 1 of the cheapest P35 mobo i can find...

i was actually giving up updating the BIOS just now. tried EZFLASH, but it's not that easy, AFUDOS also cannot.

then when searching, i stumbled upon the latest Asus update for windows 7, i download it, select the downloaded BIOS and voila! it's flashed :3
