I've reformatted my notebook again... and now the driver 185 don't work

You formatted to 32-bit?? or still with 64-bit one??

still 64 bit... I reformat it because I want to format the linux partition also... I follow the same steps to install the gpu driver but cannot work....

Testing using method 1(do not force signing...), it can work....
method 2 (to sign the driver)... this one cannot work...

usually, for the first time, 9600 gt in device manager will appear...after restart, when I check again, only intel built-in is shown in DM... don't where has 9600 gt gone

You boot in Stamina mode (which is Intel on and 9600 off)...try and try first...sweep clean the old one and try installing it again

One thing I don't understand... What exactly do you mean by booting in Stamina mode? How do i know in what mode the notebook is currently running? Are you refering to Fn + F10 key?

is there the hybrid graphic logo at the tray bar? if got, try fn+F10 to switch..if cannot means ur signing steps are wrong lo

hmm..not even 1 month...thats y i said i regret din send back for refund although there is a 1 month refund time for that company.....hmm..i not sure....so ask them check n if it's from the HDD,i'll ask them replace it...since mostly the crackling sounds is come from the HDD after googling...hmm.....maybe mine is unlucky one..iirc,chiam also got one...his problem free...so nice....haha...btw...chiam...do u mind tell me when u start the computer,do ur BD drive give out loud sound for a while???mine does...n i dunnoe why....

angelpoli, just go benq centre bising kau kau...say the problem started appear near 1 month time, but then u are busy so didnt come over..then say ask them fix, if after fix still like that, bising until they give u some benifit..must bising until u talk to the manager..
i think ur case is rather special, can make noise kau kau one, say forum no other ppl have such problem and such...

i7-820 QM clocks 1.73GHz on 4 core, 2.8GHz on 2 core and 3.06GHz on 1 core, so yeah, faster than p8700, but also more expensive

@dackson: all i7 comes with a turbo mode that can go up to >3Ghz for some models
