it's slightly more expensive than SG after converting...
if i really want to buy, i would probably be buying in HK though... but heck, i go back and see how fist, afterall that rig is for my mum only... the most intensive usage is probably Youtube and Yahoo! games only... guess i'll throw in a graphic card instead and make it a folding rig... QUOTE(miahahaha @ Nov 8 2009, 10:50 PM) If the Japan build the Memento Mori, i think most of the country in the world would fear them dun worry, there's Celestial Beings to handle that... Well, a good solution for nuclear but the beam (as in microwave beam/laser beam) must be harmful for human...still need some protection |

Asus juz updated it's G71... the latest is G71Gx...
still C2Q and GTX 260M, but the interesting thing is that it uses Mobile P43 chipset (not sure if it's considered PM43) with ICH10 chipset... in the desktop market at least, P43 is a stripped version of P45... |

time for this...
astria 156 Fantasia 115 Dackson 82 lee_what2004 76 evolution120 64 john_jay2 64 cloudstrife07 52 BBXiong 46 miahahaha 44 fabianz03 37 well, the combi is definitely interesting... Mobile 4 series (aka PM45, GM47/45, GS45 and GL40) is paired with ICH9M... in desktop market, all 4 series chipset uses ICH10, less X48 (ICH9)... so now we ve a Mobile P43 using ICH10... |

not much... iirc ICH9 is already pretty much good in terms of the functions it provides...

tri channel memory means higher memory bandwidth...
but that's overkill for consumer rigs... even games dun need that much bandwidth... reviews have shown that the performance gain going from dual channel to tri channel (C2E QX9770 + X48 + 2x2GB DDR3 1333MHz vs Core i7 920 + X58 + 3x2GB DDR3 1333MHz) is at most 15% only... and in most cases, 5-10%... and yet u re paying 50% more for the extra piece of RAM... if u merely need more RAM, memory controllers and chipsets nowadays support upto 16GB even with dual channel (4x 4GB)... still not enuf??? Added on November 8, 2009, 10:25 pm QUOTE(cloudstrife07 @ Nov 9 2009, 01:21 AM) Sapphire ATI Radeon 4770 @RM330 from Robyncom. bought it because of low heat and low power consumption. compare with HD4830 and HD4850 and it is lower...but it seems that low heat is not entirely true after all. Added on November 8, 2009, 10:29 pmand i juz realize that cloud's rig is already better than BBX's.. . This post has been edited by astria: Nov 8 2009, 10:29 PM |
