Haha, I do use your mod and from Jbenchmark ace I got improvement from original 389 to 393 +4MHz hahaha

Agree, the Opera Mobile v10 beta running faster and more stable then Opera Mini v5 beta, I've uninstall the mini version and currently using the mobile version, it can give a quick preview of the whole webpage before it even fully downloaded it's font style really fast surfing and less crashing as well as nice history browser too

Attached modified files with below changes:

1. Proper setting according to camera quality setting by changing CompressionQuality=100 (3M), 85 (2M), 50 (MMS)
2. Changes estimated file size according to the quality setting (important to show the proper estimate no. capture left base on memory leftover)

Hack phone needed to copy the file into the C:\Private\10202BE9\
If ever need to restore back to original just simply delete this file from the C:\Private\10202BE9\
If want to have a look of the original setting, can get it from Z:\Private\10202BE9\10282EDC.txt (it's the original firmware)

The FP method not working for me leh, copy the edited .txt into the C: liao and restart, but the camera still make sound no matter i use silence or disable the warning tone

Is this .SISX file doing the same as the manual method? if yes I sure it also won't work either

btw I'm on firmware v31.0.101 (maybe due to this?)

I know why it's not working for me, for no reason after a reboot the .txt file that i copied into the C: gone to no where??
For the .sisx file try to install but it saying previledge limited by cert (my phone already hacked and rompatcher already enable) and the installer will stop at that point. Maybe no luck for me to use this mod

Wonder if I personally replace the camera sound file to an empty sound file will work or not

Delete all those WAP/3G/Streaming from service provider setting will do loh, as u can always easily set it back using the setup wizard mah.

Tube is a very good phone to play around with all features equiped (hardware wise can fight with N97 less on compass/keyb/fm trans/mem) good buy

Check your sms setting on it's save location, make sure it set as C: and not your memory card E:, ppl still facing this bug as of now where if we set it to use E: as storage it will not work properly (pending fix from nokia?)

If the setting is at C: make sure clear those old sms u have because when C: storage getting low the phone will react luggishly

means out there got lots of apps need the python to be installed before it will work then? so wise to install the python for better future prove

Goto C:\Private\10202BE9\Persistense\ and delete the 10275102.cre then reboot your phone loh...

no ks for now (or ever) coz nokia never ever mention ks will available for 5800xm, but lots ppl look high on the ks availability coz they saw it on 5530/N97 which have about the same hardware profile

of coz rumor saying the v40 coming which "might" coming with ks

there's no way to improve ram, the only solution is to increase free ram prior to start the game by closing every non crutial background apps like the camera/apps/clock/contacts/sms, don't worry although u close all those apps the phone still can receive anything as normal, weird though why nokia not fully close this apps once it's not in use (maybe to improve speed of task switching?)

what map mode u've been setting? maps/satelite maps/terrain?
the massive d/l only will happen if u using the satelite maps mode where all the satelite maps images will be downloading through your network if u set it to go online automatically and ur 100 buck just good enough for 10Mb data download where this will easily consume when u downloading the satelite maps cause maxis charge rm0.01/kb and no limit loh... digi have better new setup when u exceed rm5 it will cap the line until reset at 12midnight daily then u get another rm5 for another 24hours
