Among EVERYONE I fought so far ever since CT came out, I've not fought an Arakune user before.
There was one guy who used him but never fought him back then, so yeah.

I dunno, amongst all the people I see him fought against for e.g Kaqn, Buppa, Dennou and etc etc.

All he lost to them lol, never seen him won often enough to know hes that good.

ive seen him won, although more often that not, yeah he fails lol.

to incx: mugen can cancel what, just cannot rapid cancel, and quite frankly, i almost NEVER rapid cancel cuz my shit misses more than i hit anyways, i mean, if they get blocked, the recovery isnt too bad most of the time for me to react, its the misses thats bothering me and rapid cancel cant help until i landed them be it a block or hit.

i had a lot of fun with perma mugen during training, and i did noticed the dmg counters are off the charts. i did it in actual game play vs sichiri/franstormer and results are REALLY positive, so long you're able to break preasure during mugen and be the one applying preasure instead (basically not wasting mugen)

a fully charged mugen shippuu is almost 7k dmg, btw, impractical, i know. but that shit hit franstormer that night ROFL! and on carl, from full hp to dying... sadly, i still lost cuz the time i was able to turn it around, i only left like 20-30% hp and already bursted, thats the nature with carl if you got trapped in a carl loop T^T

I don't use Mugen often to be frank, feels like a waste of stars, unless you're pretty confident in executing combos right after Mugen. I rather use my stars for a DD end after a combo.

kinda same here in a sense, id TRY not to ever reach 8 magatamas, however in the event that i do, i might as well have fun with it lol.

its only a waste if you cant go fully offensive (well in CT haku is always forced to be defensive, however CS that would change a lot)
if you think about just DD, i can spam about 5 shippuus with 1 mugen, thats 20 magatamas

then again i love being offensive and mugen serves that just purpose. win or lose, ill worry about it when it ends.

You can be offensive just as good as without having to use mugen too. Mugen forces you to be offensive. And it's always an opening for the opponent because they've already knew you're gonna be offensive. It's almost like an open book.
