Im also having that same problem on 2nd playthrough Damn annoying this flamelurker. Magic attack pain, physical also pain, but thats the games theme la, boss characters all almost 1 hit KO us

spider is the easiest boss.. so do phalanx..lol. damn..i still havent pass flamelurker yet.. maybe need to coop.

Equip thieft ring and Learn Poison Cloud,

As u walk at the entrance of the fog, just move slowly front of him but not too close and cast poison cloud on him, he will go down within 4 or 6 cast if u want easy way and paitient...

Well if u want true fight, use meat cleaver with sticky white stuff, he will stagged when he atempt to charge u....

Sounds like a good strategy, sadly i didnt learn poison cloud i think didn't really concentrate on the spells for my 1st playthrough

If u kill leechmonger (Wriggling Demon's Soul) u can learn it from Sage Freke and also Cure from Saint Urbain... Umbasa..

Damn, my manual is in chinese, dun understand one bit. Btw, im still at the first stage(?), that castle thingy. my god is hard those huge amour dudes with javelin,haha.

enchant your weapon with tupertine... phalax is week to fire.. and firebomb helps....

Added on December 5, 2009, 10:33 pmWorld Tendency can be determind my looking on the upper right of the screen...the Pure Black or Pure White effect your current gameplay...as, if the darker the eye logos goes the harder the monster & the weaker your attack power goes...but in return you'll gain more souls perkill & more % item drops rates...so if the the eye logo goes whiter, the effect goes oppositely as black tendency effect...

during the tendency goes to extreme you can do a world tendency event a.k.a special quest...which some special NPC & demon were only can be met in these extreme states...there are also some place in game that can only be reach within these time...

so each time you play you can carve the way of the playthrough during each session...its advice that you control & manage the world tendency by ur will...
