its faster if u have friends to help u. like trading/borrowing weapons/items.. or even letting u soulsucking them. theres many video of it on you tube

perhaps u can do 2 playthroughs if u have a friend to help u. u still need to learn all magics urself though.
i plat this game probably in 150 hours.. in 3 1/2 playthrough.but that was my third attempt.(as a hunter)
i stopped continuing my 1st character(royalty) cos' i thought i did so many mistakes in my 1st playthrough.. besides i hate to do world tendencies for the second times. i waste 86 hours on it.
u still need to play alone to complete world tendencies event though. playing online will revert world tendencies back to neutral.

invite friend.. he in with 1/2 hp from soul mode..
im 1/2 hp in soul mode
we both die in 1hit to everything
block with shield it go past
or itll eat so much stamina cannot be blocked any further, then got no stamina to atk

i die, it kick him
he die, it kick him
why must so hassle to enjoy game with friend?
feel like ps3 multiplayer for show off trophy or play stupid gun game.

seriously make me so frustrated to play
cannot believe this is last year GOTY, and game is not very helpful to explain mechanic.

how to heal?
use in battle when low hp and u ll stand there like an idiot with no shield and eat more dmg while healing ==;

become stunlock by wolves
cannot block 4-5 cannot atk because cancel when atkd
and there goes my body
now must try again with 1/2 the hp, how is reasonable..

i stick back another game alrdy

about 8 or so i think

collect more soul but i am lose them on each death
cannot reach body with most soul..
then is lose all when close game in frustrate.

can appreciate difficult game
but so much imba damages or poor explain does not help to enjoy in challenge

FYI, actually now is pure black tendency event...so everything turned to HELL for now...

While I feel sorry for what you are experiencing... the only thing I'm gonna say to you is:
"Get better or get out."

Sorry, this game kicks your ass and that's what more games should do now a days.

there is different between challenge and stupid mechanic.
why must restart lvl complete?
why must disconnect friend on mp?
why have hp bar or defenses or heavy armors if they do nothing to help you?
why cannot show simple numbers like stat require for use item on vendor screen?
or how much stat item give you compare to item u are alrdy use?

this is not challenge.
it is add extra frustrate under guise of difficulty.
"we cannot make challenge game, it is too much effort"
"ok, go make them frustrate instead"
this is not 1990, game now capable of saving checkpoint.
even 1-2 per level got reasonable, instead tis die on boss lose all xp, restart HALF HP.
now limit 1/2 hp for all? wat point of hp bar. monster 1hit 2 hit like that, still got ok?
repeat same is not challenge it is boring.


game can challenge with interest mechanic instead of simply stupid damages or rerun rerun rerun rerun same map over until zzzz
and give ability to skip cutscene!
yes it is so challenge to force towatch same cutscene more than 20 time.
why cannot simply press x, skip?
why cannot provide message, how to do basic thing?
instead give some stupid blue stone and no instruct.
must find out from internet how to play MP

it is mindless repeat and overpower damages.
play level until u got memorize every monster run out to u, sure = =;
no skill in that. no challenge. simple memorize.
i so happy to memorize, ill go back school and memorize books until im phd = =;

After looking at RainRainGirl comments,I don't I will get this game then.

Any one to coop demon Soul (R1 lvl 48 & R3 lvl 38) just add my PSN ID damakmy ...

This game is not for the faint of heart. This is hardcore RPG. I died countless of time in this game FYI.
But imagine the taste of winning and owning the final boss for each map, priceless satisfaction.

This game is indeed hard. I cursed many times playing this... one time almost throw my ds3. lucky didnt throw.
Patient is one thing, but tactic also is the key. If ur playing online, the red blood spot where we can see people died
really helps. It gives us hint. N then hit and run also helps. Shoot with arrow to call one mob, or attack one time and run,
make them comes to us and strike. If good with reflects, we can always try riposte. good damage.

Im a templar lvl 100++ now. going to new game. (R3)
