miyamoto_musashi, I dont think thief ring will work cuz its a black phantom, you need that erm, forgot which one, thief ring version of donno which ring that works for black phantoms. If you decide you wanna fight the dude I suggest running to the island and make sure you stand there and fight him, if I remember correctly the reward is pretty good. But yeah, world 5 is a pain in the ass.

Jas are you dashing? If you dash you'll be able to get pass the bridge pretty easily. If you're heavy armored, strip some of it first just to get across.
