Mind me asking what Hero has that Tattoo  doesn't has?
Except the bigger screen, resolution, 5 megapixels camera and apps support?
From what i see the two phone has almost the same specs...

With the price different of more than RM500, there must be other features that Hero has to offer.. according to Yan in his posting, one of the differences is the capacitive screen compared (Hero) to resistive screen (Tattoo).. With capacitive screen, you'll be able to use multitouch (I guess you could do fancy thing with multitouch as what iphone etc. has).. And HTC has given word that Hero could be upgradable to Enclair but not sure about the Tattoo..

yeah, if Hero upgradeable to 2.0 then paying extra $$ is still worth. IF tattoo not able to upgrade.
might have to wait for a while before deciding... hmm.gif

multi-touch, if fully ultilized, can have a lot of advantages.
giving a simple example, the Android 2.0 now supports multitouch for it's virtual keyboard, which, if you 'typed too fast', which appears to be inputing two keys at once, it can be detected, thus decreasing error, and increase the typing speed.
well i can't really recall any practical application that implements multi-touch, but for games, there are a lot which need multi-touch.

Except those, it doesn't really make a lot of difference.
The implementation of 'touch' is still the same, except one detects 'real touch', another detects pressure, if u get wat i mean XD
however, imho, the usability of capacitive touch screen is better, coz 1, you need not pressure/finger nail/stylus to operate it, 2, it's much more sensitive than resistive.

You can type with two fingers (main reason).
smaller battery, don't forget the lower ram.

pda expert lowyat. 1st floor. Going up eskeletor, you can see the shop. 1299 is the price for hp alone. with free 2gb and screenprotector. Ori from SIS. they give me 1299 for cash. But. Since i apply for 0% interest on 12month basis. Then they up a bit.

I bough 8gb at viewnet... cheaper than hp shop i think... tongue.gif

for 3days of testing my tattoo... I think, i wish tattoo is using Hero's battery. A lot longer time i think... Now... can use less than 16hours with every connection/email on and sync with celcom BB and wifi... plus sometimes 3G...

But not sure la if this is my fault. Still 'jakun-jakun' whistling.gif want to try everything... And look at my phone every 15mins or 'beep' i get... rclxub.gif

type with two fingers? shouldn't be a problem for resistive screen too as u won't have two fingers on the screen whilst typing, right?

yup, but in scenario tat u're typing very fast, a capacitive+multitouch is preferrable.
it may appear as two input at once if you're fast smile.gif
