Senior Member 4,532 posts Joined: Apr 2009	THIS CONTENT HAZARDOUS TO YOUR WALLET..WATCH AT OWN RISK » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « RAZER MAMBA ALMIGHTY MOUSE The Razer mamba is the 1st mouse to achive 1ms polling...basically its is a very competitive mouse in the market that is even faster than a wired mice...basic mice is around 125hz...the sidewinder x8 and g7 was 500hz polling... The mamba is the only i mean ONLY wireless mouse with 1000hz 1 ms polling ok enough with polling now we talk about the dpi and the FPS rate. i tried to move my hand as fast as possible at 100dpi...no matter how fast my hand was swiping,it still gonna track it.. now lets talk about real world use in this mouse...now i use it for 3 days gaming every night and general use during the day..other than that..the basic way to charge it is through the dock,other than that you can unplug the cable from the dock.slip it into the mouse..the software will recognize when you switch to wired mode..and there you go.GOGO fragging. i felt like i never wanted to put my mouse on the dock to charge..basically if i run out battery,i will just plug in the wire into the front of the mamba switch off the mouse and there i go... The cable is braided so it wont break easily..on the other hand you dont even need the cable cuz its wireless lolx(of cuz the cable must be connected from the dock to your computer) lets talk about ergonomics.. the mamba does have a stable grip..much more better than the deathadder...The side is rubberized so that it wont slip out of control and fly to your kitchen.. after like 20s not touching the mamba it will go on to battery saving mode but it will be toggled off even though you are typing the keyboard.. too sad that the mamba doesnt have glow on the razer logo but it does have a sexy look at the scroll wheel... The teflon feet this time razer uses black teflon instead of the white ones..but i have a problem that this feet do attract more dust due to the glue used on the mouse feet.. Jitter problem oni faced if my speakers are turn up to a quite high volume...so no big deal cuz i cant even hold on to 1 min on that volume. PROS: 5.6KDPI for unbeatable sensitivity easy to use macro recording setting 7 buttons..two for dpi on the fly well built and ergonomic. CONS: Teflon stick on dust and can be removed easily. Jitters on speaker OVERALL: The razer mamba is a well built mouse and its quite a leap from the previous lachesis..The new batch have teflon feet around the sensor.If you dont have it send a message to razerguy and he'll get 1 sent to you right away..i would rate 4.5/5 well that is about it..hope you like the review of the mamba This post has been edited by H3LLKEEPER: Nov 10 2009, 09:45 PM

Winning Is Everything! Senior Member 4,532 posts Joined: Apr 2009	err....i dint say dav2 oni for high sens that why i said that dav2 has a bigger dpi customization 450-900-1800-3500 got 4 choices while DAv1 has 450-900-1800 although 1800 is also quite high enough
