I think I need to re-state about how the Orochi SHOULD be used.
The Orochi is NOT a wireless gaming mouse. It's a wired gaming mouse. The keyword here is "Gaming Mouse" In wireless mode, it works like a standard mouse. Really doesn't track well enough for competitive gaming. I'm using it on my Macbook Pro playing COD4 and Bioshock and Modern Warfare 2 on Windows, both CAN be played, but not ideal on wireless mode. Plug in the cable, and then it really becomes a PROPER gaming mouse. You get all the features like it's bigger brothers and is really responsive. Keep in mind, it really comes to life when it's plugged in. Remember, it's running on the much lower bandwidth Bluetooth, unlike the Mamba which runs on the proper 2.4ghz wireless band to achieve the fast response times. The Orochi is really made for people like me with gaming laptops who wants to game on the go, but don't really want to carry a full sized mouse. I normally use my Orochi on wireless mode when I'm checking email or doing word documents at starbucks overseas and when I'm back in the hotel, plug it in for a little Bioshock action. It's small and portable enough to just dump in your bag without really noticing if it's there, which is really what you want for a notebook mouse. Unlike the Mamba, there's no giant dongle I need to carry around and it's not as bulky either.... Bottomline, if you are a heavy laptop user who does more Email checking or Photoshop and gaming on the go? Then yeah, the Orochi is the mouse for you. If you are a desktop user or a person who plays games competitively or frequents cyber cafes looking for a portable mouse? Then no, the Orochi is so NOT the mouse for you. |

QUOTE(chiahau @ Dec 31 2009, 12:47 PM) Erm not sure.. 1. why you need so many ports? nowadays good mobo already have, keyboards also got now Shout louder a bit.. Maybe the rep would reply u.... xD Frm wad i seen in stores recently, no v2 had been spotted and i guess, who wants armadillo when u got Apuri? xD 2. its a bungee, so the cable is higher so there still some slight pull - notice armadillo cable is at same height of mouse. 3. u cant carry it to lan without looking like a idiot or someone wanting to rob u later. Added on December 31, 2009, 12:50 pmand no, armadillo v2 not here yet. tho seems theres been a demand for armadillo v1 now, dumbasses...before when got stock dont want...now no more stock all want This post has been edited by Everdying: Dec 31 2009, 12:50 PM |
