Is the built in backup from the file manager will backup to the mass memory?
Because on my N97, if I tried using backup from the file manager, it will show memory card not available. Seems that the application tried to backup onto the memory card which is not inserted rather than the mass memory itself
Care to help me? Please

Mybe its because of the output of the charger. Can post what is the output rating of ur charger?

Just now trying to update my N97 to v2.0 fw...and it is not there yet for my fon

BTW at last encounter the dreaded White Screen Of Death just now....Have to use 3 finger salute to recover my n97...I'm suspecting the Memory Reorganizer is the culprit. Anyone wif me?

It is said at presumably next week...probably by 28 of January...can't remember where the source...will try to find it...
One of the reason why N97 classic was not included in this initial free Ovi Maps release is largely due to the fact that it took a lot of C memory, and all of us know that the C drive capacity on our N97 is quite anemic itself
Hence, one of the way to solve this is via baking it into the firmware itself + mybe more optimization etc...Now can oni wait from Nokia

Dun worry, It is confirmed by Nokia that N97 will get tis in the next firmware very soon

Arr...as N97 have a compass built in...i just use the Qiblat compass from Offscreen...download from Ovi Store...so no need to add the coordinate of Kaabah...so far its quite accurate...

And I've read the link u posted above and im sorry to tell you that Nokia 5800 indeed doesn't have compass built into it ...The way u find the kiblat is just based on the coordinate of the Kaabah and you need to know the true North...which in the N97 can be determined automatically

But more or the less, its quite a great alternative for those who hve a Tube

AFAIK usb charging will output 500mAh or sumthin like that...

Btw, recently my RAM was in pretty bad shape, always will decrease and decrease until the RAM oni hve less than 10MB free and I need to reboot my phone...usually this occur after I push my N97 to the limit (Opera Mini 5 + Symtorrent + Music player)...the RAM didn't increase even after I closed the apps
Using handytaskman and yes, I didn't have any program running....Heck I even use killme to stop some of the processes

But then, after I uninstalled Memory Reorganizer now my RAM hover around 25- 30 MB free....EVEN after running RAM depleting apps such as the Web browser and Symtorrent

Am I the oni one to achieve this kind of result? Or its just a placebo effect?

Yup...Navifirm quite slow...remembered when trying to update my N97 to v2.0 using it...haih very hard
will try to hack when hve free time LOL

i believe v21 is more towards under the hood optimization (squashing out bugs etc)

Mine rite now, the RAM around 52.1 with handy taskman+ messaging running

And yes..just hard reset ur phone and the hack will be deleted automatically
