i think "xin li yi sheng" is psychologist. where they concentrate more on how the patient behave, think and so on by counselling and psychotherapy. psychiatrist can prescribe medicines and is a medical doctor.

her problem sounds more like psychological problems than biological problems. the psychiatrist should be able to diagnose what the problem is with her. there are many type of mental disorders.
