You can actually. I just got my Hero 2 weeks ago. The stock Hero ROM (warranty by SIS) is good enough for me, very happy with it. The only thing missing is the market, so i google around and found a way to put virtually any market apps that i like into my Hero. Nice. Not sure if i can share the how-to here though. Now, waiting for HTC to release the Android 2 for the Hero.
