Looks Great!
Guys, wanna ask some advice... I currently couldnt decide between this 2 lenses..
1. Minolta Beercan 70-210 F4 vs
2. Sony 70-200G F2.8
I nvr hv any much experience shooting with tele lens... so i cant really tell how much can the F2.8 on the G lens benefit me... here is my understanding of the 2 lenses:
1.70200G F2.8
Benefit:
a) F2.8... shooting indoor make much possible.. (but was it sharp at F2.8 or hv to up to F4 to hv that acceptable sharpness?)
b) Superfast focusing speed... made shooting motorsport... (seriously i only been to Sepang for 1 time...
)
c) The G lens Imagequality??? (does it really make a lot of difference?)
Disadvantages:
a) Super heavy... definately cant bring it around without A Purpose!
b) Super bulky.... need new bag to carry it around.. Feel like VG is a must when shooting potrait.
c) Price!!! although cheaper than Canon/Nikon... but is still x5+ more expensive than Beercan
d) White.. I don really like being overly Attractive with my gear!
2. Minolta Beercan
Benefit:
a) F4.. Constant aperture is wat i need.
b) Lighter n slimmer than 70200G... making it possible to bring it around...
c) Nice creamy bokeh? I din compare with 70200G side by side.. so cant really tell d difference...same thing with the IQ
d) Cheaper
Disadvantages:
a) no new lens, meaning condition of the lens hardly known
b) not F2.8 of course.. making shooting interior harder.
c) Slower Focusing speed.
My usage: I think most of the time will be shooting Potrait & livestyle & animals. Stalking ppl?
Motorshooting is not really my thing... hv strong interest in shooting wedding. What u guys think? Beercan.. if can find i can get it anytime.. 70200G.. need more savings.... probably fastest oso mayb as Christmas gift for myself

U must have set to "Continuous Focus" instead of "single focus", either that..or u could hv turn the "ti ti" sound off (which i think hardly the case as it need it need to access into the menu setting to do tat)
i have never tested both lens but i would definitely go for 70200G if $$$ is not an issue... i like the constant F2.8 and i like it white!!! so any sifu out there to clarify this... i wanna know the answer also...Guys, wanna ask some advice... I currently couldnt decide between this 2 lenses..
