Yesterday went for TT, Tested out the a550.

Comments:
-Nice Weight.
-Damn Clear Screen
-Love The Auto-HDR Function
-Love The High ISO Images
-Love The Tilting LCD
-The Main Fact That It's Using CMOS
-(Damn forgot to test out the 7fps)
BUT:
-Hate The Super Sensitive Shutter Button
-SOMEHOW Confusing MF LV Focus Function
-The Body, Still Prefer My a200's Feel In My Hands Than The a550
-Uses SD Cards Instead Of CF...

Conclusion?
-Good bargain (ESP with the functions), if you're upgrading from a350/a330.
-Still gonna wait for the a700 replacement. tongue.gif

Actually I pumped up the in camera settings... hehehe... saturation +2, sharpness +3 and Contrast +2.. I'd say it's more oversaturated... tongue.gif but I like it! biggrin.gif

24mm, F3.2, 1/80sec, Iso 500

Will try grap a few pic from my 50mm F1.4... is still my beloved lens of all time.
For me.. The beercan produce very nice bokeh & colour is excellent.. Sharpness is not up to what i want...is generally quite soft.. event pump up to F5.6, The Corner sharpness are even worst... But right now i do enjoy having this lens as it bring me to a new level of distance that i can nvr reach b4 this  thumbup.gif The power of this lens is its soft nice bokeh.. it makes the subject standout nicely n (make it look sharper)... I wouldnt use this lens if there is no way for me to hav a blur background... I really wish Sony can come out with SAL 70210 F4... with much better improvement in IQ

here are some new shots i tested today... with some pp Smart sharpening.. the sharpness is acceptable..

thanks bro... they both were pretty.. Cute? hahaha... forgot to get their numbers... who knows next time can go for photoshoot with them as the model... looks like have to wait till the next workshop... tongue.gif

tried the beercan during the workshop. noticed that its a bit soft too... but kinda like the effect... damn nice lens...

BUY BUY BUY!...

for now my 16-105 is already my wide angle lens. so, UWA poison shield is still up.. biggrin.gif

but my camera body upgrade poison shield is seriously down... kenot tahan the poison... tongue.gif

a550? a850? or a7x0?.... tongue.gif hopefully the a700 replacement model comes out before the end of the year... biggrin.gif

duno wooo... somehow not to keen on LV... that's why I chose the a200 from the a300/a350 last time... also, I'm more in love with how the a100/a200/a700/a850/a900 body feel and looks in my hands... so, I'm more eager to know the price for the a700 replacement.
