Oh wow, I was using that speaker as well for my PS3 not too long ago.
But had to switch as the volume control went kaput on me so I changed to Edifier now... laugh.gif

anyone know what's a good set of speakers that can accept optical and pc input and is a 2.1 set?

been looking around and all the speakers i see are only single input.. or with RCA only.. Looking for something compact and yet can take multiple inputs.

Added on September 15, 2010, 9:51 amthinking of getting a mako.. but at that price and without optical input is a little to high.

Are there any equivalent 2.1 system to the razer mako with decent amount of inputs?

Reason why i'm staying away from 5.1 or 7.1 systems is the amount of wires and speakers i need to manage..

err.. what's the purpose of optical input
if it's only 2.1? won't the stereo input (PC green color one)
already sufficient enough for PS3?

anyways.. how about the HT-CT150 system?
it's compact and complements your PS3 nicely..

i'm already using that "green" input for my pc... i don't want to keep reaching down to unplug and replug cables anytime i wan to play a game..

I could settle for RCA if there's not much option left..

I thought buying that too but too expensive. Might as well add slightly more for Z5500.

So ended up getting Z2300 for the "ooomph" laugh.gif

This is the one I'm currently using right now. Edifier M3400
user posted image if this doesn't work copy the link and paste it in a new window.

Well, it may not have multiple outputs but the volume knob does include the audio out or headsets which is definitely good enough for me each time I want to switch the sound onto my PS3.
Just by plugging it into the audio out and you're done, sound quality... to my ears it's epically awesome and I loved how it was made into that shape.
No annoying cracking/beeping sound when your phone rings beside one of the satellite and the whole thing only cost RM190-200, around that range.

Bloody cheap and it's awesome(well, for me ;p). thumbup.gif
Oh yeah, the woofer is my leg rest too. laugh.gif

You mean the input at the back of the amp? But you can refer to the spoiler.
So far I just plug and play.

For people that use the PS3 with LCD Monitors, this might be a silly question:

HDMI to DVI connection, if you want audio, do you need a monitor with integrated speakers?
