Yeah, it fits..
My CPU temp now drop 10c -15c. This is great!

Hyper 212 or Hyper 212+?
I want to replace my stock CPU cooler.

What is the price difference between the two?
Which looks better?

Will it fit my CM Elite 310?

Hmmm... the reviews seems to differ with what our fellow forumers are experiencing.

I have a question about the CM212+. I'm planning to overclock my E8400 to 4Ghz. Will the CM212+ let me do that? I'm talking about at least 1 hour of Prime95 with 1.32vcore or more.
*

Look at my current setup at my signature now, I looped 20x Very High using IBT. Highest core temp reached is 71'C in aircond room, I'd say thats pretty decent performance for a ±RM95 heatsink. With similar settings, max core temp went 89'C with the Intel stock HSF.

If I'm not mistaken, Hyper 212 is discontinued and replaced with Hyper 212+, the Hyper 212+ looks better to me and certainly better performance, price wise? Cheaper than the original Hyper 212. And finally, yeah it can fit your CM Elite 310.

212 is no more available...if got, those shops have old stock...212 looks like "megahalem"...split in between...

212+ looks like any other aftermarket heatsink(red scorpion, etc etc)

just installed a 212+ with dual fans.

temps seem ok, similar to my CCF(removed CCF due to dented base...gonna lap/repair it later).

Prior to purchasing the 212+, I was curious abt the 212+ performance, and asked afew users for comments...ie Silverfire

after running for afew days, I think the 212+ works best with dual fans, to be able to nearly match my CCF performance...very good budget for a versatile heatsink...

hmm.gif Plus and non plus version are both very different sinks as the plus version comes with HDT tech while the latter doesn't. The plus version is obviously much better than its predecessor.
