transfer before 1130H on a working day, same day will credited into the other bank account.

if transfer after 1130H, will be the next working day.

what is the difference between visa electron and visa debit? Is both of them debit cards right?

I take KLM airlines as an example, they charges processing fee for payment made via visa debit, but  no processing fee for payment made via visa electron

Means that you can withdraw or spend the money you do not already have but there is a hefty penalty should you do so. All the debit cards issued in USA come this overdraft facility.

For example, you have only US$10 in your account but you charge US$100 worth of groceries at a supermarket. Such transaction will definitely go through without any problem in USA thanks to the overdraft facility. However, the penalty is big too. If i'm not mistaken, it's around US$35 per occurrence even if the overdrawn amount is only a few US Dollars.
Yeah ... sort of ... though some argue that VISA debit card has better acceptance than VISA Electron as VISA debit card uses the exact same platform as VISA credit card.

I have a question regarding Public Bank's Day2Day Debit Card.

For payment of insurance premiums, a person can sign a form authorising the insurance company to auto debit the premium from his credit card.

Can the same thing be done with Public Bank's Day2Day Debit Card? Or for that matter, any debit or prepaid card?

Debit card do not have auto debit feature. Only credit card has.

i'm using my public bank master card ING debit card to pay for my insurance.auto debit frm my card.

All the CDT are already full with cash. That is the reason. It really needs to install more ATM/CDT.
