QUOTE(Veda @ Aug 31 2010, 08:34 PM) Hi all, i'm using my public bank master card ING debit card to pay for my insurance.auto debit frm my card.I have a question regarding Public Bank's Day2Day Debit Card. For payment of insurance premiums, a person can sign a form authorising the insurance company to auto debit the premium from his credit card. Can the same thing be done with Public Bank's Day2Day Debit Card? Or for that matter, any debit or prepaid card? |

QUOTE(Veda @ Sep 5 2010, 10:07 PM) Hi, correct me if i am wrong. Thanks for the info. Is your insurance company ING too? I'm worried that auto debit from non-ING insurance company might not be accepted since I'm an Allianz customer. as long as the debit card can be used for online shopping, there will be no problem at all because it acts like a credit card.previously,i had alliance bank debit card.i tried to use it for my insurance payment but they said their terminal (or something like that) cannot detect my card number.so,what i think is,since alliance bank debit card doesn't has the online payment function(like credit card),so you can't use the auto-debit function.i remember PBVE can be use for auto debit for insurance also. |
