yes.debit card is under CREDIT CARD TYPE
so,if you want to pay stuff using your debit card, you choose CREDIT CARD and then choose the card type like mastercard, visa or whatever your card is

MilesAndMore are you a banker
i mean wow you answered all the questions efficiently

cheers bro
by the way a funny story happened to me the last 2 weeks just wanna share it
i asked before about cimb e-mastercard
after that i went to a branch of cimb (somewhere)
i asked the girl in the reception about the card
one of my questions i asked her if it is possible to link this card to paypal

guess what guys

she asked me back WHAT IS PAYPAL?????

it took me 15 minutes to explain to her and i think she didnt understand because after all of that she answered me that no this card you can charge it by atm and you can use it to buy things and it is not for internet

i personally consider that funny
how about you guys????

i mean how come a bank employee and doesnt know what is paypal
no comment... leave it to you guys

regards

Hi all,

I have a question regarding Public Bank's Day2Day Debit Card.

For payment of insurance premiums, a person can sign a form authorising the insurance company to auto debit the premium from his credit card.

Can the same thing be done with Public Bank's Day2Day Debit Card? Or for that matter, any debit or prepaid card?

i'm using my public bank master card ING debit card to pay for my insurance.auto debit frm my card.

Hi,

Thanks for the info. Is your insurance company ING too?

I'm worried that auto debit from non-ING insurance company might not be accepted since I'm an Allianz customer.

correct me if i am wrong.
as long as the debit card can be used for online shopping, there will be no problem at all because it acts like a credit card.previously,i had alliance bank debit card.i tried to use it for my insurance payment but they said their terminal (or something like that) cannot detect my card number.so,what i think is,since alliance bank debit card doesn't has the online payment function(like credit card),so you can't use the auto-debit function.i remember PBVE can be use for auto debit for insurance also.

I dunno how you can use autodebit for PBVE and PB's ING debit card  rclxub.gif  Cause I've e-mailed Hong Leong and Public Bank to ask about auto debit for debit cards.

Hong Leong's reply:
Public Bank's reply:
Disappointing news to me. But kudos to both banks for replying promptly.
