he said the price was rm300. When i went to his shop to get it, he sold to me at rm 330! and to add insult to injury, he didn't even give me the exact change!

never gonna buy from this wanker ever again!

then i discovered to my utter horror & disgust, nelson from tmn connaught store told he's sellin at rm280.

then its ur responsibilities to INSIST that you deserve the price he promised u in PM, don't only complain nor regret after you had paid the money

IMHO, most of the shop in Garage Sales often only give special discount/offer to LYN forumer...probably bcaz of the high competition here...so if you don mentioned that u're from forum and pm-ed,most of the time no discount will be given...

sometimes price at some shop will be slightly higher caz of rental and stuff like that,doesnt meant they wanna potong ppl la...

i bought a lot from him, even my ps3 i bought from him. damn nice chap to be honest. maybe you deal with one of his assistant kot. him, nelson,kyoyagami and bernard are my main choice for my gaming purpose. dun forget Alex too.

i've dealt with him b4. Nowadays mostly thru post coz i have that kind of trust in him and coz his shop moved to times square. Mostly he gave free shipping to me.

The thing with these deal is, u must also introduce urself when u meet in real life (what's ur lyn id, etc). Price in shops is not always the same as price given to LYNers.

U should tell him firmly what was the price u guys agreed upon. If u just keep quiet then and only have the balls later online...then it's ur lost too.

Anyways, these guys do have a point. I see your problem as a case of miscommunication. You might need to properly introduce yourself first to get what you're looking for, without having to haggle for extra.

This is the problem that i faces most of the time, people see my thread then got price already, then go there without even telling them self who they are, when my partner quote them the price which isn't the same as the price i put in my thread, then they just say back my partner with some rude words, if they never say anything then they just call me and say say say, i don't wanna mention their name here, but i already got a black list in my hand.

I'm just sharing what i've encounted when i'm doing this online promotion of GameWorkz.

Some clients make sellers up and down...not only some sellers cut throat but some customers also like datt..cutt sellers throats..hahaha

i think is my staff selling that hdd to u ...cause if u no telling them u are the forumer and agree the price with me before ...their dun know ...

if u got that price with me before ..and i will tell them to follow ....

anyway ....cause is our mistake ..we will return back the money to u....and i send my apologize to u ....

hopefully this is one of our mistake ..and we will improve it and continue to serve u more better .....

1. If he quote price to you different when you're at the shop, why didn't u ask there and then or haggle the price? U paid for it eventhough u know it's more expensive. No one is pointing a gun at your head forcing you to buy bro.

2. After paying what you thought is an overpriced item, THEN oni you have the balls to complain using a thread while calling ppl a wanker... tsk tsk tsk... childish and immature actions.

I admit I'm on Keane's side, i bought stuff frm him alot... and i mean alot... and i haven't even met the fellow. I only spoke to him thru the phone... coz i'm from Kota Kinabalu.
Friendly chap i might add, and when ppl doing business, it is normal to raise the bottom line when there's a chance, it doesn't mean ppl is dishonest. You have the right to accept or reject a deal, or re-negotiate a better deal that both of you can accept and deemed fair.

You accepted the deal even when knowing that you overpaid... the man himself already apologized and offered to return your money... my advice, take the money and be grateful, and get some dutch lady 123 growing up milk as well... coz if you're in Petaling street with an attitude like that, sure eat knuckle liao...

If i was TS wana take the refund malu la after talk bad about Keane.

It's not like Keane's stuff forced him to buy the item . He can always call Keane right before he made the decision to buy... Just my 2 cents.

Mr keane even could give me cheapest price that day i went to his shop same as his promised in pm box , free loaded homebrew somemore for my friend's console

For those of you who were compelled to say ugly things about my manhood, I know that it's easy to do because you never had an unpleasant experience in dealing with his store. I'm the one who was screwed here. Ain't it ironic?

For those who are on Keane's side and insulted me, either on behalf of him or just have the natural urge to do so, I'm not going to reciprocate by saying mean things back at you. Because I'm don't think there is a need to go "below the belt" as some have been here.

To other forumers who have read this thread, I deeply regret if you were offended by some of the comments here.

I think TS should just close this thread as problem is already solved
