Seeing all the reports about problem chests of MP04, was curious why buyers never check before buying/collecting from shop ... seller don't allow checking?

When I buy hot toys or any statue stuff, I always check first before leaving shop. This are not cheap items to simply accept defects, imo.

sorry i never saw the HT packaging before but for those MPs TF, u have to open the seal to check the toys inside..i still hope some day taktom will use the windows box same as yamato pack their macross..so u may see what's inside

one more thing, transformer sometimes the defect wont come at first sight

mayb after few transformation, some parts will be loosen doh.gif
so even u got perfect look when first inspection, it does not guarantee the item is perfect afterwards \

most of the transformer packaging is sealed n almost impossible to bib like new once it is opened, many parts will tied with hard wires/temporary tighten-er, so u wont know the defect until u really play+transform it wub.gif

It's a known problem since way back with MP02...there's actually nothing much we can do with the vendor.

It's not about keeping box mint/sealed. It's about bringing the item out from box and checking the paint, condition, electronics, etc.

If worried about MISB only, then buyers have to risk defects in the future, tats all

This what happened to me when i bought reissue of MP02
when i opened it, got lots of uneven paintjob & wire marks on the leg
not to mention the upside down headlamps somemore shocking.gif shakehead.gif

My MP04 box even worst, got long line on the back of it
it's not because of shipping but factory's making

Of Course lah, then wat's the point of inspection in 1st place? rclxub.gif

Exercise consumer rights .... why scared of offending vendor? Should be other way round.
