can someone teach me something about white fatalis? I super hate his super armor skin. Danm keep bouncing, anyway to get him off that mode?

lol, personally, i think if solo, GS with unshealth crit and level 3 charge(with KAS of course) on the weak spot of monster OWNS^^. Most of them will stagger if u charge level 3 on the head, except fatalis(that mad dragon needs 3030 RAW if u wanna stagger him in one level 3 charge@@). But since i ady achieve my GS full set, now i shift to bow^^ Bow is fun, not as pain as GS, but its really fun playing^^ especially ad hoc with frens^^

BTW, playing bow now is a good training for the upcoming MGS X MH

for psp yes, MHFU is latest, MGS X MH coming this june, then monster hunter portable coming end of this year

don forget the sharpness +1 if u can get it

lol well u need to know the minimum sharpness for that particular boss when u fighting it. Well LS is good, u can stick to LS for a while til u can make some quite good DS then switch back to DS. Meanwhile u can start collecting material for mega juice as it will come in handy when u play DS

ya so to say it ignore armor thickness, but still it counts as bouncing atk as well(meaning ur sharpness drop as if u are hitting and bouncing off). I used to played DS for a while, what i did was when my DS drop one sharpness, i will get away and sharpness it up lol. Waste of whetstone haha

most of the atk u can just roll under him or just back slash to avoid it. I also started this game with LS, til quite high(though suffer a lot from tigrex@@). Then i switch to GS after enlighten by exsea and some other sifus^^

BTW, traps do works quite well against shogun^^. I used to hunt him a lot coz wanna make his armor. But it will become rage for the rest of the battle as soon as u break its claw

actually for LS, early game the LS that worth the most is eagle cleaver. Its the easiest sword to make if compared to other LS with the same rank. Quite high damage, thunder attribute, and i remember i get myself artisan +1 to make it blue sharpness. And it can help u quite a lot like tigrex(though not really recommend though), green plesioth maybe, rathian, rathalos(not really sure but i did use it to kill rathalos)

S meaning is a higher rank armor, if like ceanataur S, meaning u need parts from high rank ceanataur then only u can make, and of course skills and defence are better. X or Z is even higher rank armor, u need parts from G rank monster to make

somehow they are kinda related, like ceanataur gives u sharp sword, sword sharpening and artisan +5(which is not enough to activate the skill sharpness +1). In ceanataur S u automatically get sharpness +1 and atk up(or something like that, not really remember). Then in ceanataur Z u get sharpness +1, sharp sword and another skill. They are all of the same family, so their skill are not much difference. Defence are much better but u have to remember that ceanataur armor set tend to have a negative defence skill(meaning u will get decrease in defence due to that negative effect). U can search a lot about this in monsterhunter.wikia.com or www.minegarde.com .

sure need to kill it? coz as far as i noticed normally if u capture the reward is better and easier to get rare item, not sure about this, u need to check back ya

are u referring to this??? ---->http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Rathalos_Carves This website is not showing the carves u get when u capture it, but so far i haven't heard of anything that can only kill it and get it instead of capture. But regarding rathalos, or rathian, if u wan to get its rare parts, normally we will break all the parts then only we capture it(head, 2xclaw and cut off the tail). Try it, capture really worth it sometimes, who knows maybe u can get los ruby in the process^^ good luck^^

wait u are doing guild star 2 rathalos? coz if not mistaken that rathalos drop very common things only, lousier than low rank one, not really sure, but ur best bet would be to fight against the real low rank rathalos

2 stars rathalos is like a tester rathalos, u can kill it and get items but u can only get some real common item. U need to unlock til 4 stars in guild hall to encounter the real low rank rathalos and i'm pretty sure it will drop rare item like webbing, ruby and the marrow u wan. Coz i used to hunt that 2 stars one for webbing, then only someone told me that the 2 stars rathalos won't drop it, no matter how long or how hard u fight it. So in short u need to kill the rathalos in 4 stars quest in guild hall, or the rathalos in the elder quest in order to get the bone marrow u wan.
