Thanks Eugene91 and astria,
Just customize a unit of Dell Studio XPS 16 online..hehe

-Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor P9700 (2.80GHz/ 1066 FSB/ 6MB Cache)
-4GB (2 X 2GB) Dual Channel 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM
-500GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive
-1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670

RM4885

*how's the battery life? Never use a dell b4.
**Is Acer 4810TG a worth buy? Mac book pro 13?
*
I suggest you call dell to order and request for 9-cell battery biggrin.gif Should give you at least 3 hours battery life based on the review I saw here exactly like your customised specs:

http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Dell-S...ok.21440.0.html

Acer4810TG (Core 2 Duo SU9400 1.4GHz, DDR3 1066MHz, ATi Mobility Radeon HD4330, Win7 HomePremium) RM2999 - 5-7 hours IIRC
Asus UL80Vt (Core 2 Duo SU7300 1.3GHz Asus Turbo33 Technology 1.73GHz, DDR3 1066MHz, Hybrid Graphics Nvidia GeForce G210M and Intel 4500MHD, Win7 HomePremium) RM2999 - review shown 8-9 hours WiFi Surfing smile.gif

The UL80Vt performs better than the 4810TG and Asus gives 2 years International Warranty biggrin.gif

Any laptop which is good for gaming? Doesnt matter about the price. No acer, compaq and dell pls

Ouch.. No Dell Alienware M15x? or Dell Alienware M17x? or Dell Studio XPS 16? These 3 are currently the "best" available from Dell and beats most of the competition in Malaysia notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

QUOTE(Oakha @ Dec 16 2009, 02:21 PM)
is Asus UL80vt a good performance laptop?

because it has powerful Nvidia G210m dedicated GC... and cheap price
but it is using CULV processor (SU 7300 1.30 Ghz, with turbo became 1.733)

i worry this laptop not balance.... processor is slower where GC is good
*
The GC not so good oso la.. its about the mid-end range.. but weak..

Its meant for portability.. longer battery.. theres a member in this forum who uses it for programming and gaming.. M1X try pm-ing him lol

QUOTE(giaogiao @ Jan 1 2010, 10:48 AM)
Guys, I'm choosing between Dell Studio 15 and BenQ S57.

Similarities:
Same proc (p8700), Same RAM (4gb), Same Hdd (320Gb), Same 15.6"

Difference:
Dell Radeon 4570, BenQ Radeon 4650
Dell forces people to buy their stupid OS, BenQ gives Linux, which means I can install my own Ws7: Pro Edition
Dell has the custome casing which looked nicer, BenQ looks a bit normal
Dell can still customize more. Eg: 1080p Full HD Lcd, Backlit Keyboard, 7200rpm Hdd etc while BenQ can't do further changing

I would like to go for BenQ, but I do not have any friends using BenQ laptop. There was one using it, but he changed to Dell and praised Dell a lot. And I remember seeing him format his BenQ quite a lot of time lerh. To me, I think Dell's laptop are somehow better than BenQ. But, I can be wrong de marh.  sweat.gif

Dell after customization is around Rm3500, with that stupid Ws7: Home Premium.
BenQ is selling for Rm3199 at LYN's StarTec price list.

Mind gimme advise?  icon_question.gif
*
HD4650 is a better performer compared to HD4570 biggrin.gif

Formatting does not mean hardware related problems. It must be he doesnt take care of his system properly like clearing rubbish out of the system and defragging? Viruses/Malwares/Rootkits?

Since u say photoshop hmm.. I dont think there's any CULV with Dedicated graphics at that price..

its RM2999 for Asus UL80Vt (Nvidia GeForce G210M Hybrid Switchable Graphics with Intel GMA4500MHD)
