QUOTE(JuzJoe @ Oct 23 2009, 12:07 PM) *******! reading that article makes me sooooo angry! That ******* is talking shit about us again! I'm not going to be one of the many blind/ignorant people that's going to make his wallet fat. I don't need MW2, I've quit WoW, and I'm not interested in guitar hero. So Activition gets no money from me. Worse comes to worst get it used lor .. no money goes in their pockets that way ...

No more Activision games for me.Maybe same goes for Blizzard games if the quality starts to drop.
I doubt Blizzard gonna stay strong like how is it now.Probably thats why SC2 have 3 separate products now,not because they have more story to tell,it's because Kodick is behind them.
Once the Kodick's greed gets into Blizzard,it's gone.
SC2 will be next fail game of the year. Then, followed by D3.
Now i wish Jay Wilson should have stayed in Relic.

The other advantage of the dedicated server model is that it allows communities to organically grow in a persistent place. My XBoxLive friends list grows only as a meet new people in real life, but on the PC I can join a server that has given culture already in place, exposing me to a new atmosphere, with individuals that are far less transient that those I encounter in a pure match-making scenario.
This allows people to develop relationships over time. On a console I'll play with a person once, perhaps twice, and unless they are immediately and strikingly insightful, interesting or hilarious (rare commodities on the interwebs) I have ZERO desire to ever encounter them again. In a more persistent environment, people have the ability to grow on one-another and gradually pierce each other's e-Personas.

It means that you dont have dedicated servers.
You need a more beefy rig to run this game.If IWNet choose you to be the host.

To host a co-op/MP game, your PC must be better than the given number.

Indeed, the new system introduced by IW on COD:MW2 are going to reduce the consumers from buying the game. But from my own view from the trailer of the game, the game is still seems appealing to me, i wouldn't mind give it a shot. i haven't read all the post in this topic, but i've seen someone talking about CS.P. Thats new to me, i passed on CS because of source gameplay and its true that many CS gamers don't like source gameplay like i did. well, cs.p looks like another game i would like to try it out too. heh

So... who in this topic actually owns an original copy of COD4? Basically I'm wondering how many Malaysians here who are "outraged" by the decision actually own the original copy. Piracy played a part in the IW's decision. This post has been edited by Aggroboy: Oct 28 2009, 02:25 PM
