Guys, just want your thoughts and info on the best LED TV in the market now with the respective prices. So far i managed to get the following:

1) LG 42LE7500 (Edge LED) for RM 3300
2) LG 42LV3730 (Smart LED) for RM 2750 - launched in June 2011
3) Philips 40PFL6606 (Smart LED) for RM 3400

Can anybody get better prices for the above TV's or have any better recommendations for similar size and price?

Should have gone for the LG 42" LV3730 (LED Smart TV - slim) for only RM 2750. Launched in June.

How would you rank these models for TV's? Sharp, Toshiba, Sony, LG, Philips, Samsung

Consider the LG LED tv: 42LV3400. It only costs about RM1980 in KL. But there's a newer LV3500 out now.

The experience depends on which salesman they deal with. If anybody wants to know which salesman to go to, please PM me. Ive bought about RM 20K worth of electrical products from them since 2009 and zero problems so far. Their prices are really unbeatable.

Legends is the biggest. They have 4 shoplots and their prices quite unbeatable i think.

Have a look at the LG: 42LV3400. It costs RM 1980 only.

U can get the LG LED tv (42LV3400) from Legends SS2 for about RM 1980 only. Launched mid 2011. Its got a dynamic contrast ratio of 3mil:1. If ure interested, PM me and ill tell you who to see. If u just walk into the shop and talk to the wrong salesman, u wont get this price for sure.

Many choices la. If a LG LED 42inch can be purchased for RM1980 im sure u can find many LCD's for that price range too. But why go for a LCD when u can get a LED for such a good deal?

Ive already advised you before. You wanna get low prices then check with Legends SS2. Dont buy electrical products from hypermarkets.

Ive heard all the stories about Legends SS2 and ive also contributed on that thread i believe. Ive heard the same stories mentioned by ESH staff down the road when i called them. So im quite sure many of these so called negative comments have originated from ESH employees.

I bought some stuff from ESH first and then realised their prices were more expensive than many shops in that area. I then moved to Legends. Since 2009, ive bought approximately RM20K worth of goods from them. Ive not had any bad experiences with them. My salesmen were first Alex and then now Darren. Both of which have given me excellent service and very competitive pricing right from the start. Ive also never had any 'no stock' excuses given to me to date.

And till now, all my products bought from them are still in good working condition. All warranty cards have been sent to the respective official manufactuers and confirmed without any hassle or any signs of hanky panky.

So i would suggest you do your homework and check all rumours before believing in them. The electrical market is very competitive and your competitors will do anything to bring you down. This is a virtual world where anybody can claim anything. Dont even believe me if u dont want to. Try it out yourself. Ive given u the names and i can gladly provide you my purchase prices. You see if you can get better prices elsewhere with the same level of service ive got.

Just for your info, I just bought a Panasonic 1.5HP aircon non inverter with ioniser (CSC12MKH) for only RM 1380 with installation.

The current 3D's are gonna be replaced soon by models which do not require the special lense.

Go to Legends SS2. They have the lowest prices ive seen. But u need to talk to the right salesman or else you might not get a good price. If u need a contact then PM me for details.

For those prices, ure better of with an LG LED tv rite? 42LV3500 is only RM1800. Launched in October 2011.

U can get the LG 42LV3500 at Legends SS2 for only RM1800 (or less if u can bargain well).

Its the replacement for the LV3400. I heard the only difference is the extra HDMI port. Does anybody know what the other differences are? 42LV3500 now going for RM 1800 at Legends SS2 im told.

The price now brought down to RM1750. I think if i nego more ill be able to get even RM1700.
