From wat i enquire around Milestone is @ rm 2100. Problem is its local warranty although the unit is imported.

I myself is under the dillema to either get it or not...

Any suggestions ?

just got mine from ring mobile nice seller he throw in a free motorola pouch as well.... lucky its able to fit XD....

checked the ap unit seems its like from Hong Kong.

as for screen protector i dun think there is one yet unless u custom yourself ... as for me i am using the 1 which comes with the phone... ugly but still better than nothing




anyway good news is the market is working fine and i can download apps from it... quite a number of free apps...

well from this shop i dun think they have a demo unit
u need to confirm order for this phone then they take stock for you. Usually need 1 day in advance.

oh yea milestone is out with a 2.0.1 patch for Hong Kong units..I have updated mine to have a fix in
battery life,
os stability,
camera fix and etc

the downside however some forums indicating you can't root a 2.0.1 version yet.

seriously the camera is working better than before =.=
not sure bout the battery or os stability yet....
problem is how do i find apps besides using market place.

can u guys use the system update on the phone and try to update ?

hi bro i updated mine via software updater, you should try.. there is a new equalizer widget in it. But one thing that got me dumbfold is when u access the calender it asked u to log into google =.=

Oh yea those who wants to use mp3 as an alarm ring tone.
just create a folder in the sd card called "notifications" and copy ur prefered song in it.
The standard alarm ring tones are too short

hmm any of you guys successfully disable the camera shutter sound ?. besides setting your phone to silent mode

Updating from HK unit is practically easy just use your phone and run the system update. takes a while to download the 30.1mb patch
once it download finish everything is practically automatic. after 3-5 minutes of extracting and patching(done automatically) your milestone is up to the version of 2.0.1

Well for this i tried the Google Map to locate my location.. curious Google map not properly updated or otherwise. My location is always like few meters different from the exact location.



MotoNav didn't manage to try..
It keeps giving me the "Please insert your Motonav SD Card". Still finding a solution of this.
