I don't remember Motorola have any software that can sync their android devices with outlook but HTC Sync do provide outlook support. So if you want android phone and need outlook support, you might want to check the current and up coming HTC model instead.

If you don't mind doing the sync through google services, there are also third party solution that can sync outlook with google services ( not free though ) - http://www.daveswebsite.com/software/gsync/ ( google also have a free one that only do calendar sync ).

didn't notice any 3d launcher, although i might have missed it in the settings, still playing around with it though... perhaps any sifus here can enlighten....
my firmware version says its "2.1-update1" perhaps there are further updates...?

Base on info on the net, the 3d launcher is not included in the update for Motorolla Droid/Milestone, probably because there are outstanding landscape orientation bug ( a must for droid/milestone ) and too memory hungry ( Nexus one have 512mb ram versus only 256mb on droid/milestone ).

So far its not bad, though there was 1 rural area in Melaka which the maps isn't complete/accurate.

IINM, u pay 60USD for only a 2 year subscription for Motonav. Since I'm new to this, I'm not sure how other software like Garmin/Tomtom/Papago fare in pricing/subscription wise. So, I'm not really sure if the price is justified, but I'm sure everyone wants free lifetime maps even if we pay for it biggrin.gif

On a another note, my phone is still rebooting randomly even after I did a clean & wipe + reformat SD card. doh.gif It's frustrating, wonder if some downloaded apps are causing this issue. I've unistalled some apps that I had earlier to see if it still auto reboot.

The common type of application that might cause random reboot are home replacement, widget and task killer/task manager. Of course, you might just happen to have a bad unit too, i.e better went back to the service center if still under warranty and the problem persists.

Allright people, time to get you guys excited.

Here's how to get Google Navigator onto your Milestone without needing to root and all the fancy stuff.

#1
Download the files:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6IIOGIPW

#2
Extract the files into the root of your SDcard

#3
Using a file manager/browser, install the following files which you have extracted into your sdcard/Download folder
GoogleEarth.apk
maps3.3.1...apk

The rest of the files, you don't need.
You now have 2 program named 'Maps' , the second one is with Navigation. I have tested this and it works. Enjoy  drool.gif

That's the old hack version, get the latest one here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=630887

Yes, it is only partially working until it is officially supported here, if ever.
