Guys, if any of you are interested in a short hands-on review, I wrote something on my blog. Took some pictures as well. It was just a few hours of playing with the phone, but generally it's a positive experience. Love the build and keyboard. And yes, text looks better on the Milestone than the Nexus One (which I own). But the opposite is true for colours, they are much better on the Nexus One due to AMOLED. Hands-on and short review

QUOTE(VCBlogger @ Mar 29 2010, 12:41 PM) Hi Bro based on your opinion is it better to get Nexus One or Milestone since they are both around the same price. Depends on whether you want a keyboard or not. Another thing is whether you are interested in developing anything for Android (as in the OS, not applications). Nexus One is much more developer friendly - its SPL is officially unlockable. The other thing to consider is that you are going to be paying a premium for the N1 since it's not available locally directly from Google. The Milestone is very much cheaper if you take AP sets into account. Even the official set is slightly cheaper than the N1. All the other aspects of the phone is more or less equal - display, build, performance, etc. Added on March 29, 2010, 2:52 pmQUOTE(madtoilet @ Mar 29 2010, 11:20 AM) is there a good GPS mapping service for the milestone (for malaysia)? And is it possible to get it onto my little milestone without rooting? Motonav is pretty good. I shoe-horned it into my Nexus One. Absolutely love it. The problem is... you can't get it installed on the Milestone (tried and failed) so the only way to use Motonav on Milestones is to activate it for USD59. Papago does not work on 2.1 yet. You can try looking for iGo (Motonav is actually a re-branded iGo). The ones I found didn't work on WVGA screens. This post has been edited by ebernie: Mar 29 2010, 02:52 PM
