But you need custom ROM for that right? Or rooting the phone plus an OC program would suffice?

The phone has been locked to 550Mhz. So you need to flash the recovery image like oc1ghz.img so you can set it with the SetCPU applicatipn to 1Ghz.

Right now, it wont work with motorola milestone. Only for droid

Depends on what you want. I'll go with the more established Android platform. Basically N900's bulk puts me off. Also the keyboard area is too small for my liking.
Yes, the lag is still there and its disappointing. I've check a few online forums and we got many complaints there. I hope 2.1 resolve this issue. I guess I'm too used to iPhone hahaha!

Yes, but Dolphin browser seems better then the default browser. The lag is hellish, I think my previous N97 browser seems better in term of speed. icon_rolleyes.gif

OK I've applied the Pulsar v1.2.1 custom ROM update and everything looks really cool! No root access required. Things look smooth but I'm gonna cross my fingers and give it some trials.

Any changes?

anyone here bought from automationbites? any feedback on the seller?

Well, I get frustrated when buying from them via postage. Anyway, I took the risk if anything happen. The phone finally arrived and the phone works perfectly. I rate 9/10. icon_rolleyes.gif

Frustrated? What happen? How long did it took for the phone to arrive?
*
I ordered it Friday and of course the item will arrive on Monday. 4 days need to wait and 4 days without a phone!!

If I get con, = no phone.
4 days to wait without phone = anything cn happen.

Droid is for US and it's LOCKED. Milestone is for Europe, Asia and ETC and it's UNLOCKED. Go for Milestone

Hi guys,

I installed net counter on my milestone and i am currently using maxis 500MB data plan. I checked the net counter log and found out there is data received and send although i already stop the gmail auto sync, loggrd off my facebook, stop gtalk processes. Is this normal ?

Go to android market and search Toggle Data. Download it, place the widget to your homescreen and switch it off
