My laptop 1920 x 1080, I use home 20" LCD monitor that support max 1360 x 768 and it works...
I use the normal VGA cable to connect my LCD 20" Monitor...
After connect the VGA cable, and i press the "Laptop/Projector" or "WIN+P" button, set to "Duplicate" mode, it display both 1360 x 768..
I did not use "Extends" mode.. so i guess jz set to "Projector" for the ease of my eyes.
What type of cable u use for the connection?? VGA or HDMI or DisplayPort??
Have u try "Change the screen resolution" after connect to your LCD?
U might wan to try, Connect the LCD with your laptop 1st, then restart your laptop while LCD is still connected to laptop...
Hope this help..
