QUOTE(kukujiaotm @ Jan 18 2010, 11:00 PM) Guys, now the 3-year XPS Premier Service with 3-year CompleteCover [add RM 582.00 or RM 49/month-1] Last week was RM461. Damn, the warranty service price increase already. Lucky, i brought it at RM461 :-) increase then the proc or gc will be change again

QUOTE(kheechun @ Jan 18 2010, 06:56 PM) Just tried to update BIOS to A12 on my 1640, and guess what? computer hanged at "programming block 19 of 32", called Dell after half an hour, they said can't do anything, have to turn off the computer and try to start it again. Unfortunately, the computer is not able to start up anymore, no Dell screen, only the 3 volume buttons blinking.... Motherboard will be replaced tomorrow If the flashing process failed, it's likely the mainboard needs a replacement.

QUOTE(outlife11 @ Jan 19 2010, 10:33 AM) still don understand y C2D price still increase ? mayb i5 not suitable for gaming also(bcos HTT) Try checkin out certain upgrades available on other specs and u might notice Dell dont give super duper discount when doing upgrade or purchasing from them. Do note that there's reports of the 90W adapter given by Dell is not enough for powerin i5 and i7 systems due to the high power requirements. Perhaps that's the reason why Dell is tryin to make buyers purchase more i5 & i7 systems instead of the older C2D. Must withold from buyin a new system b4 they rectify this problem. QUOTE(Eugene91 @ Jan 19 2010, 08:10 PM) FLash the Dell BIOS again lol.. Didnt u asked the Technician?? U shud've insisted on him why no Dell Logo? Solved, just set the diagnostic screen to 'disabled' in BIOS setup. The technician didn't know about it when asked... Anyway, I also realised that the boot screen is slower to load, there is like 2 seconds delay before the boot screen shows up in A12 BIOS...
